List of Roman Kesler's Reviews
As a long-term patient (11+ years) I highly recommend Dr. Kesler to anyone seeking a neurologist. I have a rare sleep disorder that is well-managed because I found a doctor with expertise who treats patients with concern and respect. His demeanor is quiet and professional, which I find very appropriate given his specialty. He works hard to help his patients understand and manage their condition so they can live normal healthy, lives. If you need a great neurologist, go see him.
I moved to the area and needed a migraine specialist. I’ve been working with one for about 20 years before moving here. Dr Kessler helped by changing my preventative and that was a good call. The office follow through though is abhorrent. When I needed the prescription refilled they took weeks to get it filled. They NEVER a called me back with a status on the refill. The office told me they would provide me with access to an app so that I didn’t need to call for refills and they NEVER provided me with that info. Meanwhile I was without the preventative and getting breakthrough migraines for the first time in ages. I felt that Dr Kessler and the practice lacks compassion or empathy for me as a patient.
HORRIBLE! The neurologists at Mayo Clinic diagnosed me with an autonomic disorder. He, however, believes I was misdiagnosed and have “mental health issues.”
HORRIBLE!
Damn good Neurologist!!!
Dr. Kessler walked into the room rushed, he went over one set of test results. I reminded him that we had additional test done. He shuffled through paperwork and walked out of the patient room only to return with the results at hand. He proceeded to review the results mechanically. When he finished reading the results he made a few comments that I will not put in writing for now. He seemed annoyed that I was asking questions and requesting further testing that may reveal more about the situation. He said, he was leaving the room to order additional and test and he never returned to our room. A clerk walked into the room to inform us she would be checking us out. I asked were the Doctor. She did not respond. As I turned around I saw him sitting in his office behind a large desk. I approached his office and with a smile reminded him that he did not return to our patient room nor did he say goodbye to us. I also mentioned that our situation was serious and we really wish to be treated with compassion and care. He apologized as he gazed up from his desk only to return to his paperwork. I stopped by the office to request copies of our test results. And found that on the patient notes he stated: "Oddly after the visit the patient's wife enters my office uninvited and indicated she is upset that I did not formally say goodbye to them and did not appreciate what they are going through." Imagine that! He used the word Oddly and that I walked in uninvited ! Wow, this is just unbelievable...Am I naïve in my thinking of wanting a doctor that cares for patients and takes pride in their work and workes shoulder to shoulder with patients experiencing difficulties? I am in the process of filing a formal complaint regarding his demeanor and behaviors towards us.
Showed up early for my appointment only to be told the doctor had taken the afternoon off. They tried to reach me but couldn’t leave a voicemail? When the lady at the desk offered to reschedule me I told her not to bother I won’t be back! I’ll use another medical facility for my needs!
Dr. Kesler is fine, answered my questions. His office staff and assistant are pathetic. I have the hardest time getting prescriptions refilled when they require Dr. approval. I have, over the last few years called his assistant. Neither the staff nor assistant have ever called me back. They clearly do not care which then reflects on Kesler.
Frequent staff turn over. Never talk to the same person twice. Reception staff is not friendly. I get botox every 3 months. 3 out of 4 times, botox was not in office. No call to let me know. Staff lied and said dr was in a meeting. I waited 1 hour and 40 mins for them to tell me the truth .... botox wasn't there.
I was happy because he was the first doctor to take an issue that I had been dealing with for years seriously. The prescription has to be renewed every 3 months. Every single time it’s time to renew I have to call and leave voicemail after voicemail with no returned calls to finally get them to send the prescription to the pharmacy. I’m up to two weeks without my prescription this go round and still no retuned calls or prescription sent to the pharmacy. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
