We can never put in words our appreciation and thanks to Stacy, Director of Case Management. She went above and beyond to help us on January 11th not knowing it would be our last time on this earth to see our loved one! Very caring facility and Stacy was for sure God sent that day!

Special mention of OT (Kelly H)and PT (Charles D). Their professionalism, enthusiasm, and expertise is a major reason why I was able to progress in a short number of weeks. They know what you’re capable of and encourage you to do your very best. Charles knew when to push and when to rest for efficient muscle build. They are highly recommended for therapy coaches and one would do well to ask for them.The Select staff from assistants, nurses, therapists, and doctors are excellent, helpful, and friendly.

I am so pleased with the overall care I received at Select. The Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) Departments took good care to help me regain some mobility and independence in performing basic hygiene skills. Charlie, one of the physical therapists, worked consistently with me to learn again to stand and pivot and to gradually and safely increase mobility skills. By the time I left I was walking down 2 short halls with guidance! Thank God! The building is immaculately clean. It's the first thing I recognized about Select. The doctors and nurses were very concerned and compassionate about your care

Tge food was great and timely. the nurses are wonderful, doctors terrific. my physical therapist Charlie was genuine and gave me hope to know that I could succeed. I appreciate his concern. his name is Charlie.

My stay here at select has been excellent. Therapy has been excellent. The medicines I needed has been excellent. Housekeeping very good. I would be proud to say that if someone needed to come here, it would be a good place for their relatives.

I have read many good reviews, and I 100% believe that they are all fake! Every person I have actually spoken to has had the same feelings we do...Select hospital is TERRIBLE! We had one nurse we felt actually did her job and was sweet, and she was not a select nurse...she was a travel nurse from Mobile. The nursing care was terrible, the "physical therapy" so they call it, was basically non existent. The PT actually told my dad that lying in the bed is considered physical therapy. People were rude and rarely checked on us at all. Even when my dad called the nurse almost in tears from pain, they didn't come for over an hour. I guess because they're the only extended stay hospital in the area, they feel they don't have to compete. It was awful, and the good reviews must be fake as everyone I have talked to had the same experience we did (and the other hospitals have the same opinion).

I was a patient at Select Specialty for several weeks recovering from COVID. The staff, nurses and everyone are very nice and kind and treat you with dignity. They motivate you to get up and moving based on what you can do.Charlie with PT is awesome giving that extra little push to do just a little more. I am very happy and thankful with the care I received and would definitely recommend Select to anyone.

Strong, flexible, and highly motivating physical therapists.

A dear family member was placed at Select. She has done extremely well there and made much more progress than she did when she was in another area hospital. Every team member has been so helpful and friendly. Every time I've visited she has been checked on many times. She has been happy there and treated with a lot of dignity and respect. Thank you Select!
