Thomas Babcock's Online Review Report Card

Poor follow up - will not return phone calls. Dr. Babcock placed a cochlear implant in my elderly father in December 2019. The implant has never worked and several additional tests have shown it is not functioning and needs to be repaired. Dr. Babcock has not responded to requests to resolve the issue. Very poor practice for a medical provider.

Had a good experience with Dr. Badcock n his staff. they were freindly n tentive to my needs. Gave me information that i needed to further do what was needed to be done. would tell anyone about them.

Highly professional and extremely caring he provides the best considered and most knowledgeable medical service and advice. I have complete confidence in his medical judgement and skill as a doctor and a surgeon.

My 4yr old son was having hearing problems and a lot of fluid in his ears. He needed tubes and his adenoids out. We had a great experience with Dr Babcock and his staff. The Audiologist was great too. Staff were attentive and scheduled surgery and follow up ASAP after my sons appt.

I had a great appointment with Dr Babcock, however, he sent me for an MRI on my ear that was done in November 2018 and still to this day (1/29/19) have not gotten the results from his office even after several attempts in calling myself and promises from his office staff that I would get a call back. I had an appointment in January 2019 with my primary care doctor and she pulled the results and provided me the test results. I consider their follow up horrible and would not go back

I would have given this doctor a zero but it was not an option. I was never able to see him. I was referred to him by my ent doctor in march 2019 it is now Sept and I have NOT seen the doctor. Dr Babcocks office cancelled on me 3 times. First time I was in route to the appt, they said he had an emergency. I could understand that but the other two times I can not. If you don't want to be seen, then by all means , chose this doctor. If you want service and a caring staff go someplace else for sure. Very disappointed and I will never never refer the office to anyone.

Dr. Babcock cut me off while trying to explain the problems I was having. He did this several times. He made a few rude remarks. I tolerate this only because I needed to be sent to bigger hospital that does the type of surgery I need. He wanted me to see another doctor and come back 4 months later to give him my decision. I went home did my research and made my decision. Called his office 2 days later! What a friggin joke! I explain to the later I wanted to make a appointment to see him to give him my decision. All she says is he hasn’t turned the paper work yet for you to see doctor so and so and you have an appointment already for November. I again told her, that I did not want to see this doctor and that I want to make an appointment to see him as soon as possible. She then again says you have an appointment in November! That’s it! Between the treatment of the doctor and his lazy staff...go elsewhere! His staff never smiles they sure don’t say hello, have a nice day or anything! I’m letting my primary doctor deal with this....

Dr. Babcock did my cochlear implant. I was absolutely pleased with his expertise. I was so worried about the shaved head around the ear, and to my surprise, Dr. Babcock never had to cut one hair! He is so amazing, and so skilled. He listened to everyone of my concerns and answered every question I had. Don't hesitate to have Dr. Babcock do your implant, you won't regret it.
