Touchstone Medical Imaging's Online Review Report Card

The easiest medical related experience I've ever had. My appointment was at 9 am so I got there at 8:45. I was done by 9:10. Bing. Bang. Boom. Done! Of course it helps if you fill out the forms the night before and self pay. No insurance to haggle with. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant. The front desk clerk was very nice and the woman who called me back to explain the procedure and did my ex-rays was also very kind. She even called me doll! 😊 Love it. I hope I don't have to come back anytime soon but I sure did love the ease and friendliness I experienced during my visit.

For an imaging center, it is really astonishing how poorly they treat injured people when they need to do said imaging. While healthcare is often troublesome, this experience was far less than ideal. My poor mum.

So upset!!! I asked SEVERAL times about the out of pocket expense for me and I was assured, several times, that it would be the amount I paid. Now I have a bill for over $300 that they are going to sent to collections.

I’m an RN who actively works in the medical field. This is one of the most welcoming, professional, organized healthcare facilities I’ve EVER been to. Instructions were clear. Self-pay pricing was clear. They were very prompt in getting me an appointment. The wait time for my appointment was practically non-existent. I didn’t even have time to complete one sheet of paperwork before being called back. Very sympathetic and incredibly kind employees. The MRI tech was very concerned about my comfort. Results were promptly sent to my referring provider. Very thankful to have been sent to a place that really practices incredible healthcare and service. Proud to have such a facility in my community.

I can't say anyone was rude, but laying in the position they had me in, I was in undescribable pain. I cried the whole time and I feel like they rushed it because the radiologist that read the films did not see fully the problem I was having. I will be going to another imaging business to see if they can take images that are clear and I can be fully diagnosed. I've been looked at sideways because of the poor images don't match the severe pain I am describing. So on to another self pay experience to hopefully be diagnosed properly, even though it is extremely painfully.

Touchstone Imaging is a wonderful facility with not only top notch employees, but some of the best technology in this area.

My "day of' experience was wonderful. Patient and kind people there. Then after having a very minor billing issue caused by my mediocre insurance provider, Trisha and her team at Touchstone Pensacola spent an hour sorting through the mess that my insurance created. Rather than just send me to the next person like everyone usually does nowadays, Trisha stopped what she was doing and fought for me to make sure that I was taken care of. Trisha is the type of person I would want running my business, no matter the business. She made lifelong customers out of my family and I! Thank you Touchstone, but even more thank you Trisha!

Let me start off and say JANET is unsympathetic and unprofessional. The office at Touchstone is nice and they are quick enough getting you in on time, unfortunately they are not very compassionate and it feels more like a drive thru restaurant. All of that aside my big issue is that I was reccomended an injection by the radiologist that would give my MRI a better contrast image (clearer image). I hesitated and was assured it was normal. It was not disclosed to me that I would owe an EXTRA ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for it. If they ask to do this, know there will be a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR ADDED FEE. I have no given you better communication than I was given. DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN JANET IF YOU WANT A PROFESSIONAL. I would probably find elsewhere. Will update to a two or three when I see the quality of the images. Update: Image quality was decent.
