I was in-patient at the Lakeview center back in 2015 and Dr. Sompalli prescribed medication for me that changed my life. He was kind, listened, and a good person.

This physician does not listen to his patients. He comes to his own conclusions about patients before ever laying eyes on them and does not allow new information to change his views. He also directly violated HIPAA in my case by speaking with 3 family members about my medical record without me present and without my permission. On the other hand, he did not bother to contact my regular clinician, despite me signing a HIPAA release for communicating with my other health providers and specifically providing her contact information. He attempted to have me take a medication that I do not need, for a diagnosis that I do not have, without even inquiring about how I am doing with the medication I'm already taking. Avoid at all costs if at all possible.

Dr Sompalli was my Doctor from 1990 until 2015, he helped me learn to deal with things going on in my life. Since the passing of my Husband in 2015, I'm living in Northern California, we live in a small town and don't have a psychiatrist here, I wish we did. Great Doctor & Person.
