List of Walter Beard's Reviews
Dr. Beard is amazing! I have never experienced the level of care, compassion, and clinical treatment that Dr. Beard has offered . I have a rare medical condition that Dr. Beard suspected on my first office visit. His persistence and diagnostic testing confirmed his suspicion and diagnosis of PAH. I am now on Rx specific to PAH- Dr. Beard saved my life!
My husband had his first appointment today with Dr Beard. We were extremely happy and confident in his plan of action. The entire office was great. We would and will definitely recommend him!
Dr. Walter Beard saved my life in March of 2020 at Mobile Infirmary after I was hospitalized for heart failure.
Dr. Beard is truly an outstanding physician with impeccable bedside manners and clinical knowledge. He spent over 30 min with me explaining my condition A.fib. He actually sat down and drew me an example of the heart and how A.fib causes my heart to beat and why being on a blood thinner is important. He explained why I was on each medicine and what it was used for in my condition. I never encountered a physician who cared that I understood was going on with my body and the treatment plan. I left impressed and confident that I was in good hands. If you are in need of a caring cardiology look no further. And for the reviewer who stated Dr. Beard was incompetent and didn’t show compassion for your mother ......your opinion contradicts my experience. You were late to an appointment. Your tardiness and still expecting to be seen is a reflection of your sense of entitlement not Dr. Beard as a physician.........next time arrive on time.
Dr Beard was indifferent and didn’t even pay attention to his nurses notes. He failed to catch a serious medical issue because he was too busy making assumptions about me. Left me with more questions and no answers. Had to seek treatment at hospital.
Dr. Beard is a very pleasant and careing person who listens intently to your concerns and answers however many questions you may have. He’s very Patient and asks many questions very easy to talk with and he gives a very thorough examination you leave there completely satisfied knowing that you have been graced with the highest level of service
This man is completely incompetent that has no empathy for elderly patients. Ignored my mother in the emergency room three days ago and forced her to come to his office today for another appointment. Because of her condition she was 15 minutes late and he refused to see her today. Stay away if you want someone who truly cares about you
Igniored my mother in the ER three days ago and insisted she visit his office today with a broken shoulder and unable to walk. Because of her condition was 15 mins late. Dr Beard ignored her and sent her away causing delays for surgery a week after breaking a boulder. If you’re elderly and want someone with empathy, stay away.
Very intelligent and personable physician that genuinely cares for his patients. Answered all of my questions without complex medical jargon. Great bedside manners. Highly encourage anyone to see him if looking for a new doctor or wanting to change
Outstanding physician. Very intelligent and compassionate. Despite his busy clinic he took time to explain my diagnosis, the pathology and treatment plan. Young but very talent. Would highly recommend to anyone searching for a new physician or looking to change.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
