I went to him for an evaluation and he recommended lithium the worst drug for me. Luckily I only took it for 3 weeks not enough time for it to ruin my kidneys.

My brother died under his care at the Douglas hospital last week. His name was JeanSébastien Gélinas. I don’t understand. And i will spend the rest of my life understanding what went wrong. My brother’s life was worth mine. It’s not about blaming it’s about understanding. So others don’t go through this again.

I felt strongly that Dr. Bloom was more interested in my son as an interesting case study than he was in my family and my ongoing commitment. He is in communication with another young doctor Brossard that has implied the same thing not knowing me and who also seems to have an overinterest personal interest in my sons care who blatantly disregards every thing I say. I have been a strong advocate for human and patient rights and bristle at the implication that I would act in anything but my childs best interest. Brossard seems like a spoiled brat who didnt get her way growing up profoundly immature and unsure and abusing her power to overcompensate. Very unhappy with both these Dr.s.

Apparently people swear by him as this incredible hot shot doctor. Well i think he suffered a heat stroke because my mother has actually been worse since having him as a doctor. Kept changing her meds weekly without follow ups which sent her to the hospital where he proceded to apologize to her for this because a proper follow up wasnt done. She is now far worse than she ever was in the past. I strongly suggest you reqiest for another doctor if your loved ones are in need of help.
