Very incompetent and uncaring.Run as fast as you can....No good

Worst most incompetent allergist so far. First visit expected 5 pills 4 scripts. 2 days later call pharmacy they say 1. I call the allergist they say theres nothing on file about them. Another gets called over. Still didnt have Epi. I call pharmacy again. Call allergist. This time the lady lied saying they already sent everything on day of appointment. Wow.I gave up on that front and had to cancel asthma test as it would be pointless without asthma medication.Then comes the fun part. I go to lab for testing telling them to ignore the food testing done it 3x already and the hand written one is the most important. Lab explains its gibberish not in their system. They understand how its done but cant do it with a gibberish code. They print out their screen for me so I can talk to the doctor. I also was told by another allergist this test is no longer performed.I see the doctor again and she blames my lab theyre at fault not the doctor.My lab and pharmacy I have high respect for. Very competent and respectful. Theyre what allows me to know when a doctor just cannot function and shouldnt be practicing. Please dont waste your time and get degraded here.

This doctor is one of the most uncaring and unprofessional doctor Ive ever encountered in my life.The lack of professionalism and empathy disgusts me. i asked that My child records be faxed somewhere and she told me to get in my car and drive to the office when I live 40 minutes away to get my records I will leave the rest of my details of the call confidential but I will say without a doubt that this doctor is the worst I have encountered.

Dr Sanka allowed me to breath again She is truly an amazing physician and one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is friendly intelligent sincere and professional. I would highly recommend Dr Sanka to anyone in the Tampa Bay area. I have struggled with allergy issues my whole life and now I can breath She takes time with each patient and fully explains what is going on. Thank you Dr Sanka Oh Her staff is also awesome

Aperently she has a disabling phobia of phones andor cameras. Im very concious to mute my cell and hold it horizontal so nobody gets uncomoratable and have never had a problem. I thought nothing of the poster up telling you not to use your phone because I dont do texts or calls. Many times doctors have come in with it on my lap chair or just as I tuck it in a bag. This doctor fled the room when she saw it and forgot to prescribe any of the meds she mentioned except one. So if you rely on your cell because of a disability youll need to see someone else. Over the phone they said she didnt even make notes about the prescriptions that were mentioned. This also explains why telehealth wasnt offered. The poster should have explained why. I would have understood if I had known and my appointment might not have been a waste of time. I suppose issues with technology might also explain why I didnt get the prescriptions.

Dr Sanka is an outstanding doctor. Not only does she possess a very high level of expertise as an allergist and physisition. She will also take the time explain your diagnoses and the possible solutions to resolve your diagnosis. One other very rare quality Dr Sanka has is courtesy and respect for her patience great bedside manner youre treated like a human not just another number waking thru their door. One last thing a doctors office is not the insurance company. If my insurance carrier didnt cover shots or medication I needed then I would call them or switch insurance companies. Doctors have to pay for these supplies amongst other things. If you dont work for free please dont expect your doctor to. She is the Best allergist I have been to in the TampaSt Pete area highly recommend her

Dr Rima Sanka and her staff are fantastic My son has had severe allergies in the past this was 2 years ago and after visiting Dr Sanka we noticed a huge improvement. He is a lot better now and only occasionally needs medication. Dr Sanka will also prescribe generic drugs as much as possible. She truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Sanka is very professional and knowledgeable. She is caring and compassionate. Her knowledge of immunology is excellent and she and her staff have helped to greatly improve my quality of life. I highly recommend her and her friendly capable staff to meet your allergy and immunology needs. Thank you Dr. Sanka for helping me to be healthy again

Best Doctor I have ever had. She goes the extra mile to ensure you get the tests you need. She treats you like you are the only patient she has all day. She is very easy to talk to and she thoroughly tries to understand what is going on with you to determine what you need.

This place and staff are amazing you couldnt find a better place. Two of my daughters have been coming here for years and more myself. Everyone is feeling much better under Dr.Sanka care.
