Rena Mehta's Online Review Report Card

The first thing out of the receptionist mouth is did you fill out of the paperwork online. They won't schedule an appointment until paperwork is done. At least a 2-month waiting period and get put on a waitlist. Obnoxious. Part of what is wrong with healthcare today.

Dr is nice enough but never seems to be in the office. For some reason the other drs there will not help and see each other’s patients… so that really sucks. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for months. Needs better office staff. The women who answer the phones need to learn manners and how to not speak so condescending to patients. People call you guys who are needing a medical treatment. I think they probably forgot they don’t work in retail..

Agreed with the previous review about terrible care. The wait to see a doctor us 1 hour or longer WITH the appointment! Such a waste of time. I had the appointment with the date and time written by staff. They can’t find it but keep repeating over and over “you don’t have an appointment”. You are incompetent, unreasonable, lacking responsibility and ownership. Plain stupid when keep repeating same thing, like a broken record”. Horrible service!

I have no issues with Dr. Mehta, it honestly has to do with the staff and their professionalism. They need more training on how to handle themselves when they are busy. They will put you on hold while you are mid-sentence, transfer you another person that can help with a request without naming who that person is or the role they play so you are unable call back and ask directly for that person. They say to leave a message but then have the line immediately hang up with no option to leave a voicemail. When I call and say who are you transferring me to they say "just trust I'm sending you to the right person". That is unacceptable.

I’m from Massachusetts so I come to Florida for winter months. Decided to get a primary care so I came here in 2022. I had visit we did blood work called for results which I finally got. Was told prescription was called in which when I went to pick up not there. Called office was then called in I had other questions regarding bloodwork never got a call. At that time also had Ct scan bad sinus infection asked for appointment took 5 days of phone calls back in forth to never received an appointment. I called home to my primary care in Massachusetts I was called in prescription for antibiotics!!! I will not recommend the office staff is terrible at communication very unprofessional. I had ask before I left their practice for good to speak with Dr. Mehta to make her aware of situation said I was unable to speak with her. AWFUL CARE!!!!

Last week I attempted to schedule a new patient appointment. I put in the application and they called me the next day. As the receptionist was pulling appointment times and days the receptionists were having side conversations and laughing. Super unprofessional!

Dr Rena Mehta is extraordinary! She is caring, listens and really works with you address your problems. She is an outstanding physician, very knowledgeable and extremely professional. I have been impressed with her for both my husband and myself. She is a wonderful diagnostician. She works hard to make you feel important by giving quality care and doesn’t order unnecessary testing. We are both extremely comfortable and satisfied with her as our primary physician and often recommend her to people looking for a primary doctor!

Great, caring doctor. Some of the office staff need to be more curious on the phone and when requesting information on prescriptions. On several occasions the prescriptions were sent to Walgreens and they said the request were never responded to. When I called the doctors office, they responded with an attitude towards my question, blaming the pharmacy. As I stated, Dr. Mehta, is a wonderful doctor but on occasions her staff are not as welcoming and attentive to the patients needs.

My initial new patient appointment with Dr. MEHTA was a great experience. I felt like I was listened to and cared about. I am so blessed to have found her. Allison Mitchell
