Trying to get answers out of the office staff is like pulling teeth without novacaine.Staff hung up on me 3 times before I was able to leave a message. Staff acts as if it is an inconvenience to answer the phone. My insurance requires referrals before I go to a specialist. Dr. wanted to have the testing done as soon as possible. The office is aware of referrals needed, I can't figure out why this can't be handled promptly.

He never asked me about how I felt and any problems I had...just looked at past tests, ordered a bone density test only because I asked him to (I am 78 years old). Just wasnt' present or involved with my care.

This Dr. no professional skill no referral liked, his personal employee no respect patient decision or opinion.

Yo no recomiendo a este doctor. No tiene compasion con los pacientes. Es un Doctor sumamente peligroso para clientes que tienen situaciones avanzadas. Tuve oportunidad de presenciar el trato de un paciente ya mayor - en lugar de tratarlo con respeto, simplemente le dijo, "Te estas muriendo" con decirles que el paciente asi como yo que presencie el abuso nos congelamos en nuestros sitios. Nunca mas regresaremos con este doctor que con tanta crueldad trato al paciente. Un doctor muy cruel, sin sentido de compasion. Que pena que el hospital tenga que depender en doctores como este. Yo lo despediria porque no tiene valor moral alguno.

You would be making a good decision to choose Dr. Shah as your Primary Care Doctor. Dr. Shah has been my Primary Care Doctor for a good 25-30 years! There are many good reasons for this! He has taken well care of me! He has always treated me well! I admire his knowledge and expertise! He knows “his stuff”! Dr. Shah is caring and listens to my concerns. I will continue to see Dr. Shah as long as he practices. ??

I have had Dr. Samir Shah as my physician for many years now and am thoroughly pleased with his health examinations. He really understands me and my way of living and caring for my body.

I was just seen by Dr. Shah on 2/26/15. I JUST LOVED LOVED LOVED HIM! Yes he did need to excuse himself to take a phone call however I could tell he cares a great deal about his patients! He took his time with me. Spoke to me not at me or down to me. He explained everything in full detail to me as well as to my daughter. I felt a SENCE of calm and reassurance after my visit that Dr. Shah knew what he was doing! I know I'll get results and the best quality care with him. His bedside manner was lovely. He smiled and spoke kindly to me and my daughter. Not only was he kind but so was his nurse. I feel very blessed to have met them and I look forward to my return visit.

This doctor could not be bothered to answer questions in a respectful manner, or really at all. Took other patient calls in the room while seeing us instead of excusing himself. Became irritated that I wanted to only see in network specialists not the people he wanted me to use. Worst doctor I have ever seen. Ever. So RUDE. His staff and punctuality are the only things to recommend him.

We were recommended to see Dr. Shah by friends of ours, the husband also has COPD. My husband had been suffering with his chronic bronchitis for quite a while when we heard about Dr. Shah. We had re-located and our other pulmonologist was too far to travel, and so my husband went to see Dr. Shah. Well, we can't speak highly enough of this doctor. His focus is totally on his patient and their concerns. Within a few days after meeting Dr. Shah, my husband's breathing had become much worse. Dr. Shah saw him immediately, and within days had to do a procedure on him in the hospital. This doctor is a credit to his profession. He is extremely knowledgable, caring, compassionate and he will tell you he treats his patients the way he would want to be treated. His two nurses are just great. and we needed a pre-cert, within hours the office called us back with the pre-cert number. We were very pleased that there were no problems. Thank you Dr. Shah and also to his office.
