Worst Experience ever Mostly intended for the receptionist that answers the telephone for Dr Downs. ALWAYS very short curt and rude. Has no time or patience to listen to any call. Today 22 Dec 2020 I reached this person and was told that they got stuck holding the bag with my 87 year old mothers insurance and it did not cover her. I responded my mother is a person not a bag. Was attempting a follow up after release from Gulf Shores Rheab for positive covid. Dr Downs need to let this person go find another line of work please.

Wow wow wow. From out of state just moved to Florida six weeks ago. New Patient. Driving around here is nuts Had trouble finding her office. Was not even ten minutes late. Waited for two patients before me to get to the front desk. AND SHE WOULDNT SEE ME BECAUSE I WAS NOT THERE AT THE PRECISE time of 1045 a.m. signed in at 1055 Dont want a doctor THAT inflexible. BUT I checked her creds after the fact and wasnt impressed anyway. I wouldnt even give her one star but you have to give a rating. PLENTY of doctors in the area. Find one with a heart who cares.

Shes not my Doctor Never met the lady but heard good things. I just had to give her 5 stars because I feel so bad that all these 1 star Reviews LOVE HER but hate her staff....

Great doctor but make sure if you are wanting your FREE annual checkup you make sure that you SPECIFICALLY SCHEDULE the appointment AS THE FREE ANNUAL CHECKUP and do not discuss ANYTHING with your nurse or doctor I GUESS YOU JUST ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WITH IM HERE FOR MY FREE ANNUAL CHECKUP You will be charged $200 for what is supposed to be a free annual checkup and then you get nailed for the LAB WORK on top of that because its not ordered as YOUR FREE ANNUAL CHECKUP SO what was supposed to be a free checkup is now over $600. GOOD LUCK

Love the staff they are on the ball but 2 of the Doctors need to learn to listen to the patients. You cant formulate an opinion and not listen to your patients. its just wrong. I am sad to have to find a new Doctor cause I loved the convenience of location and staff here.

The doctors seem like they COULD be amazing physicians but if I had to guess I would say they do not get a chance to show their skill set due to the front office staff. They lack empathy patient care and they are rude. They do not seem to give one care about giving messages to the doctor or returning patient phone calls. Even when urgency is expressed. I work in healthcare and if these people were the gate keepers or first people my patients had to interact with I WOULD BE MORTIFIED.

Dr. Downs is a great doctor. She is down to earth straight up and has a great sense of humor. She saw my meds and fixed what another doctor messed up. My blood pressure and cholesterol are nuch better now.
