My experience with Dr. Budharaju has been excellent. He has helped me get my diabetes under control.

As someone interested in becoming a new patient, my experience with this clinic has been anything but smooth. I have observed that the rave reviews may be coming from longstanding patients or personal connections, which made me originally want to be part of this medical practice. However, my attempts to engage with the clinic have been marked with inefficiency and unresponsiveness. From requesting my lab results via email to keeping me on hold for excessive durations, the administrative side of the practice seems disorganized. Despite repeated assurances that my case was being processed, I ended up experiencing delays, poor communication, and additional requests for paperwork that were not initially mentioned. With all the technology available today, I find it hard to believe that there were such barriers in simply scheduling an appointment. In conclusion, my experience as a potential new patient has been challenging, and I urge others to consider this before making a decision. Interestingly, I was able to secure an appointment with another healthcare provider quickly using my Cigna app, suggesting that there are other options available for those who value efficiency and transparent communication. My recommendation is to seek care where patient time and effort are valued.

My name is George A. Jernigan, and I received a referral via TriCare to Dr. Budharaju in June 2023. After a total of 5 attempts to schedule an appointment, I was unsuccessful at doing so due to simple front reception desk protocols. First, the receptionist wanted the standard records, referral, and scans and prior labs from my PCM. However my PCM did not receive any instructions on what labs or scans to order. After calling back several times, the receptionist explained she would not call my PCM's office to work out the administrative details. Therefore, we remained at a standstill. Each time I called I was polite and attentive, however the receptionist appeared to be annoyed and bothered by my call. Each time she talked over me when I was trying to explain the situation and the requests coming from my PCM with respect to labs, scans, etc. The receptionist was not helpful or accommodating at all, and I resorted to switching my referral to another doctor in the area.

Absolutely AWFUL office staff. The laziest and rudest I have ever had the displeasure of making contact with. My doctor referred me to this circus of an office on April 8th. They faxed a referral, labs, notes and all the things the office needs to schedule my appointment. My doctor has faxed my labs and notes an additional 3 times since then and the clowns working at this office claim " all we have is the referral". My doctor's office has included a referral on top of my labs and notes each time. Somehow they expect me to believe that the fax machine ate the rest of the paperwork between April 8th and April 28th. They're too lazy to make the phone call themselves to figure out where the rest of the paperwork might be. STAY FAR AWAY! Imagine being a patient here and requiring the front desk clowns to help you figure out something with your medication, or help with the pharmacy. Absolutely awful.

I called to see if they were taking new patients and was on hold for a while. They won’t take new patients until you send them your labs so they can then cherry pick their patients. Apparently my copay isn’t enough to see this doctor and address some challenges. I wouldn’t advise trying them from my initial experience!

The staff are very courteous and helpful. The doctor is great explains everything and let you know what's going on.
