Carlos A Botero's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of his for over 10 yrs. I started with him when I couldn’t find a Dr to do notes for my migraines among other issues I had with pain. When I started I was having 15 to 20 migraines a month some sending me to ER because they were so bad. I recently move to another state and now only have 1 or 2 migraines a month. He listens to you and through trial and error finds a plan specifically to you. The girls in the office helped me with insurance and pharmacy issues and still help me with finding a new doctor in my state and sending necessary paperwork to get me the care I need so I don’t fall back. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Carlos Botero is a caring physician of mine. He has a great bedside manner. His number one concern is to help his patients get better. I worked in the medical field for over 30 years in all different specialties. I know a good physician from a bad one. Dr. Botero is an excellent doctor! He has a busy practice and a large staff. I have never been disappointed with my level of care from him. I can now walk and move without the pain from my accident. I feel thankful I was referred to Dr. Botero from my primary physician when I moved to Florida.

I try to make an appointment with this office and the receptionist was oblivious to what I was asking they asked me for things that I did not have that had a come from my doctor and I said what do I do will you have to have your paper sent over to us and I asked her repeatedly and she had no answers they were supposed to send me an email and they didn’t okay I called back the next day which was Tuesday and they said we’re not gonna take care of you as a patient because you were not nice to our receptionist well asking a simple question of what I should do yeah receptionist is incompetent and basically I wouldn’t trust the doctor if he has people like this working for him so I would not use this company with this doctor

My wife was referred here , I called them was told they needed documents faxed before scheduling an apt . Her primary doc did that then was told they never received them . Primary doc faxed again I called back left a message they never returned my call .Today I called again they said they were to busy to talk to me .I asked to speak to the office mgr and was told she was to busy to speak to me.so I changed her referral .All these problems before she even have an appointment...no thank you

Still the best Pain Management doctor in Florida. Dr. Botero cares about his patients and wants to help everyone manage our painful conditions so that we can have a better quality of life without being overly medicated. Dr. Botero and his entire staff work very hard for every single patient. Even through the entire pandemic when other doctors offices had closed their doors, Dr. Botero and staff continued (and still continues) to come to the office so that none of us were in a situation where we unable to see him or Jain when we needed to see them. The measures taken during the pandemic make me feel more comfortable when meeting for my appointments. Vaccines & Social Distancing are never a 100% guarantee against COVID which means Dr. Botero and his entire staff risks the possibility of catching COVID, but they do so because they care about us and they want to help us. If you are reading this review and you are in need of a Pain Management Specialist, pick up the phone and give Dr. Botero a call. He's the best there is.

Have been to another pain doctor and Dr. Botero is far superior. Interested in finding ways to help with my pain relief and in doing so I was able to reduce amount of medication I had to take.

You only see Dr, Botero once every three visits. The other two visits are with the nurse practitioner. It’s just maintenance visits. You don’t have a choice.

Dr. Botero and Staff are wonderful. I read the bad reviews and was skeptical but after my appointment I felt relieved. Very happy I found this doctor. Dr. Botero is very conservative with what he prescribes and if he thinks you are on too high of a dose he will cut you back. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the bad review are from people who had their meds cut back. I give the doctor and his staff 5 stars.

Took forever but nice friendly staff.
