I went to the emergency room at SFBH a few weeks ago. August 27th at around 8 pm I had a very high temperature and chills and just very very ill. Upon arrival I was seen almost immediately by a nurse named Sandy and then I believe I heard his name was Dr. Bartlett. His bedside manner was very kind. He made me feel comfortable and quickly got the ball rolling to get me better medically, but also the way he treated me with compassion and care made me feel safe and like I was in the right hands.

Saw this doctor twice. once when my mom passed away after being treated at Tampa General by Dr. Bartlett. again when treating myself. upon assessment of my medical history, he had never heard of a rare genetic illness that I was born with, and retorted, there is no such thing. dismissing my issue for being there. even with 105 fever. that was at south florida baptist hospital.
