Dr. Richter has been our daughter’s pediatrician since she was born almos 9 years ago. He has helped us navigate various issues, not only related to our daughter’s physical health, but also our own concerns as new parents, what we should expect (and how can we support) her developmental and behavioral health, etc. He is thorough, holistic and empowers not only the parents but the child, and we have never felt rushed out of the room. The office staff is capable and attentive, you can get appointments for sick visits within the same day and wait times are short. They have an on call doctor 24/7 for evening emergencies. We feel so blessed to have such an amazing pediatrician in Dr. Richter to support and guide us through our parenting journey.

I recently cracked a crown on a molar and Dr. Richter was able to squeeze me in to extract the problem tooth in a quick and painless manner. He also did a great job explaining about implants and/or possible bridge as a replacement once the area is healed up enough. I would highly recommend his services.

Hudson Heights Pediatrics is THE place to go when looking for the practice that will take the best possible care of your child. DR. Richter is the best pediatrician I have had for my children. He is attentive, he cares. We have three children, the oldest of whom is quite medically complicated. I have been thrilled with the care each of them have received! Dr. Richter is warm and totally engaged. He is thorough and takes time to answer questions and talk through concerns. We can't recommend him highly enough.

For two years I told Dr. Richter there was something wrong with my child. He asked me to go see a psychiatrist because my anxiety was high. It turns out my child has been diagnosed with autism and he has missed the critical time in treatment because I trusted in the doctor and did not start my child in treatment early. He has no knowledge about ASD or any developmental disorders and his knowledge could not be trusted.
