This optical outlet in plant city is the best . My self … my wife … my kids ( 3 ) as well as my mother all come here . Not just for glasses but for the eye doctor as well . Never an issue always polite and patient … when the frames break because of life they fix them and they don’t give road blocks just solutions …. Always help full always amazing !!!

My eye exam was handled professionally. The Plant City office of Optical Outlets has state-of-the-art equipment. The cavernous interior is bleak and I could barely get someone to acknowledge that I'd arrived for my appointment. The staff there seems depressed. Young Dr. Hamilton is a proficient eye specialist. But, here's a heads up, if you're from the west coast of the U.S., keep it to yourself.

I have used this office a few times since it is convenient BUT the last 2 times I have gone, they have confirmed everything and then waited until after the exam is OVER to tell me I have extra fees... I am not talking $30, Last time was $150 more and this time $219 more than expected. When you go in expecting to pay the $10 co pay and you get hit with that after the fact, it is an issue. They need to explain any fees before agreeing to the exam and give the patient the option to go elsewhere or to wait. Horrible customer service. I will definitely drive a little further to use an office. If you do plan on using them, make sure you ask for a full report on the total cost before you actually do the exam.

Wish I could give them no stares but I have to. To write a review I took my daughter in on Saturday to pick up her new glasses. We walked in and we was the only customers in at the time and the two young ladies that was working Jasmine and Yari was having a conversation between themselves and Neither one of them stop their conversation to ask if we needed help I told them we was picking up her glasses and neither one of them asked if my daughter glasses fit or even give her a mirror to look at her new glasses I had to tell my daughter to look in the mirror and the one girl Yari throw the paperwork down in the desk without letting me know I had to sign it I had to ask myself if I needed to sign it and I just think it's very unprofessional and very disrespectful to treat a child like that and now I have to go to another eyeglass facility to get her glasses fixes.And when I spoke to the manager Tiffany Mota she seemed very unborther by the way her emplayess was unprofessional to a child.

They were very kind when I explained I was on a limited budget and helped us find glasses for my kids. Then, they said the glasses would be ready in two weeks, but they ended up being ready in less than a week! That's great! Thank you!

Staff is always super friendly and the doctor is amazing. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Sitting here waiting for the eye doctor to show up. Appointments begin at 9:00 am and scheduled every 15 minutes. I was appointment #2 and I've been waiting 40 minutes. There are now 4 of us waiting and no one has been seen yet. Was told Dr. Hamilton was not even here yet. When asked what time he usually arrives the answer was "whenever he gets here". I would be more accepting if this was unusual but clearly this is common. I'm going to have to move on.

The people are nice, but they seem inexperienced. The prescription was wrong with the first pair and the second pair doesn't feel correct.

My 7-year-old lost her glasses on a road trip. (We used to go to My Eye Dr, but their customer service is horrible, they never answered the phone and they ushered us out because it was time for a lunch break last time we went in.) We thought we would give Optical outlet a try. SO GLAD WE DID. Nice associates, super fast help. They understood our needs and got it handled ASAP.
