List of Orvil L Ayala's Reviews
He answered all my questions and suggested what I could do to improve my condition. Very easy to talk to and thought he could help me.
I suffered chronic back pain for almost 15 years. I took oxycodone 4 times a day everyday for almost 15 years to make the pain bearable, I had a Radio Frequency Ablation with negative results. I no longer take any pain meds and am pain free due to Dr. Ayala's expertise. After 1 round of injections approx. 14 months ago I am still pain free. I am aware the injections at some point in time will wear off and I will happily schedule another appointment with Dr. Ayala. Not everyone will have the same results but it is certainly worth the phone call to set an appointment.
After 8 yrs a diagnosis was found. I was referred to him for a SI injection. We met and he didn’t like prescription I prescribed. Stopped it. Scheduled for injection. A nurse friend saw me and asked to be with me during procedure. I had 18 injections and screamed through it all. Went in with pain 3 came out 9 begged for relief. Nope. When got home called referral doctor. Said come in right away. Referral was upset I was patient #9 he had changed procedures from original orders. Ayala had changed my procedure from SI injection to nerve ablation. I was told it should never be done on Fibro patients. Took a month to calm down and sent to another. Big relief. Then got notice from Trihealth he was no longer with them. Be cautious ……
If you are looking for a good pain doctor pass this one by.
Explained he was going to do sacroiliac injection. When asked why other terms were on consent form he said insurance. I was to have one injection and he did a nerve ablation which is contraindicated for fibro. I screamed through procedure. Afterwards was at pain level 7-9. No pain relief, nurse said per dr policy. At follow up appt he suggested to do it again. Heck no.pain is normal. Went to different doctor who put me on Norco. Advised to file complaint,I wasn't alone. He has left TriHealth
THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION FROM HIM OR HIS RUDE STAFF AFTER I HAD A PRESCRIPTION FILLED BY ANOTHER PHYSICAN AFTER AN ER VISIT FOR AN EXTREMELY PAINFUL CONDITION. I HAD DISCUSSED THIS CONDITION WITH HIM AND ASKED HIM WHAT I SHOULD DO IF THE CONDITION SHOULD EVER OCCUR, AT A PREVIOUS VISIT, AND WAS TOLD BY HIM TO JUST CALL THEIR OFFICE AND LET THEM KNOW, WHICH I DID, UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS AFTER I HAD FILLED THE SCRIPT FOR PAIN MEDS. I'M SO SORRY WHILE I WAS IN EXTREME PAIN I DIDNT THINK TO CALL HIS OFFICE BEFORE I HAD THE SCRIPT FILLED. I AM A MIDDLE AGED FEMALE WHO MADE A FATAL MISTAKE, NOW I HAVE TO START OVER WITH SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO TALK TO ME OR THE ER DOCTOR. JUST A GEADS UP.....DON'T EVER GO TO AN ER AND GET A PAIN MED PRESCRIPTION FILLED OR THEY WILL DROP YOU LIKE A HOT POTATO.THEY NEED TO HAVE MORE COMPASSION TOWARDS PATIENTS AND MAYBE JUST TALK TO THEM BEFORE THEY JUST DROP YOU. I EAS DEVASTATED BECAUSE HE HAD GIVEN ME BETTER RESULTS FOR MY BACK ISSUES THAN ANYONE ELSE HAD IN THE PAST.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
