List of Robert Baskin's Reviews
Dr. Baskin is not my family Dr. although he has been the on call Dr. for the two times on the weekend when I needed one. Dr. Baskin call back time was awesome he called me back within 5 MINUTES!. He listen to my issues and will call in the medication that I needed to get better!!!! Thank You, Dr. Baskin
This old man has very rude or bad manners. Never touch a woman please unless you really know her. Second, he gets mad and demonstrates that same attitude to his patients and staff. Please keep your attitude to yourself. Not our fault that something made you upset. No need to show it to everyone. :) Be the example you should be as an old physician. He thinks he is “all that” just bc he is a doc. Never would recommend him to anyone. Dr Korte is better and very loving of his patients.
?is the lab really closed or is that another lie to keep certain people and turn others away?I would love to be able to see the Dr.Baskin at least every 2 or 3 months or especially when I need to like when I can't get my blood pressure under control thank you Earl Green I can't seem to get past the front desk
He is the most caring doctor that I have ever gone to. He listens and talks with you and is so down to earth. Would reccomend him to anyone.
Today was my first visit with Dr. Baskin, I was totally impressed with his knowledge with regard to my medical conditions. He has a very caring manner, listens to what you have to say and finds a solution. His Medical Assistant, Kimberly, was extremely caring & helpful as well. I would definitely recommend Well Med to anyone who needs a Doctor in the Plant City area.
It’s a shame that decades long loyal patients of Dr. Baskin who have put their unwavering faith in him are being forced to make a difficult decision about continuing on as a patient. Patients are being forced to choose whether to endure being embarrassed by, talked down to, and have their concerns blown off by new members of his staff or seek out a new provider after investing endless amounts of money and faith into this practice over the course of decades. This is not an isolated experience, many of Dr. Baskin’s loyal patients have and are making the decision to leave the practice because of how his staff now operates. Dr. Baskin is a wonderful and stellar physician but unfortunately the staff he currently employs do not reflect those qualities. Physicians provide services to their patients and neither nurses nor office staff speak for a physician. The nurses are rude, condescending, they treat people who have genuine concerns about their health like they’re complete morons, and act as if patient concerns are a burden to their obviously incredibly important work of charting and returning phone calls. Exasperated sighs, exaggerated huffing, snooty attitudes, snarky comments, baby talking, and quite unbelievably even MOCKING patients to their face. These are the kind of staff that keep people from seeking care in hospitals and physician’s offices because patients would rather suffer than be made to feel stupid or embarrassed. I hope Dr. Baskin seriously considers retraining or replacing this joke of a staff team as he should have more concern for his patient’s dignity. To the staff members: being in the medical field means that you will be interacting directly with people and sensitive issues, if you are not prepared to be a people person who shows respect and compassion then don’t work in a field that requires you to be one. As a reality check attending school with a major selected simply by salary rather than passion or commitment is a disservice to everyone. it’s unfair the public has to deal with this epidemic of jerks who believe themselves to be superior and act so terribly just to stroke their ego because they can. (Although a good amount of the staff actually have no medical training and choose to still speak for a physician or nurse giving medical advice and instructions in a stunning display of stupidity that could result in dangerous repercussions.) Sadly it would be better to avoid this practice (solely because of the outrageous behavior of the staff unless of course you enjoy being embarrassed and treated like you have an IQ of -7) and find a practice with a polite, courteous, and caring staff.
The rudest office staff. I wouldn't even book an appointment after speaking with them.
Not sure how to rate him. he is my moms Dr. and we have been trying to reach him on several different occasions to get a clear reading of what treatment is needed for her she has signed all paper work for him to talk with us but he is very hard to reach and when we do ask questions no real answers and the reports we are given are partial Looks to me like he is a big fan of writing lots of scripts and sending them on their way?
Well I see Dr. Baskin once and that was my last time. Instead of discussion my lab work with me he proceeds to tell me don’t eat out so much, but never asked me about my eating habits, then he said something I never taught I would hear from anyone much less a doctor;;; oh don’t eat too much water melon and fry chicken that will do it, I know I am heavy but it did not come from eating out, or water melon and fry chicken, well sir give God the glory people pay you well to earth those things
Professional compassionate healthcare at it's finest

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
