Was referred by my ophthalmologist for treatment of a retinal vein occlusion in my left eye which the doctor confirmed and began treatment the first visit. Everyone was very professional and pleasant to deal with during a possibly painful procedure.

I have a condition due to diabetes that requires I get a shot in each eye (a week apart) every 4-8 weeks. You can image how scared I was to learn I could lose my eyesight and the thought of a needle in my eye freaked me out to say the least. Dr Villate quickly put at ease and explained my would be numb and the shot takes less than a second. I trusted her and she did not let me down. She also fought with my insurance company to get the right medicine (they of course wanted the cheap stuff but Dr. Villate knew that wouldn't work and didn't want to put me through unnecessary shots. I have been seeing her for over a year and my eye sight has improved significantly and I no longer fear going blind. I continue to see her every 10 weeks now. I also want to say how awesome her staff it. I look forward to seeing Patti and Nick. They are always professional and kind. Highly recommend Dr. Villate's practice.

Dr. Villate goes above and beyond to treat my advanced stage wet macular degeration. My orbitals are unusually sensitive. She ensures that always gave extra numbing medicine to give me pain free injections. She carefully led me through a drug trial, and when I had to change medications she transitioned me to a drug requiring only 4 injections per year. She is the best.

Very sensitive to patient's needs. Explains in laymen terms the objective and provides visual insight as to progress. I feel completely comfortable in being treated by this DR. The most important attribute the Dr. has is the ability to inject medication so delicately it is hardly felt.

Dr Villate has the most welcoming, relaxed, caring manner. She is thorough and informative. A visit with her is like going to see a favorite relative that is a super smart Doctor. She performed my laser eye repair smoothly while reassuring me everything was going well...and it has!!
