Dr. Schechter is an AWESOME spine Dr. He listens and review your case then give you the MASTER plan of what he needs to do. 🙏🏽❤️ Thank you Dr N. Schechter 💯👏🏼
Dr Schechter was great, he explained things clearly while showing me what was on X-ray. I would of gave 5 stars but the the wait was long. Appt at 2 they want you there 30 minutes early and didn’t leave until 3:30
Professional Kind Caring
Doctor doesn’t care bout you at all didn’t even get a follow up appointment every other doc say my back is messed he say it’s fine don’t see nothing wrong with it bring me your mri and go from there he doesn’t trust what the other doctors say and walk out horrible person don’t go to him
Staff is efficient and friendly.
I'm not so sure about him. He rated me "disabled" being this has been my 3rd surgery-lost 4 of the 5 lumbar discs; list of significant physical work restrictions, I'm in my early 60's. I'm in South Florida, lots of remote workers; highly educated, that's not me however, so what's available is to me would be more labor oriented. "Between a rock and a hard place." There are some really ugly implications, here. I went back to his office for pain/symptoms; praying I hadn't lost my last lumbar-disc, no ex-ray or anything really. Again, I have significant physical restrictions. Who is going to hire: someone who cannot stand for long periods, walk very far, nor sit for long since the initial op or lift or carry, significantly? I also thought he'd sign-off on my discharge application for my school loans; he declined and gave me the names of two other doctors that are "physiatrists." Yet when leaving his office, he said, "see you in a couple of years" I said, I certainly hope not."
Very thorough and professional.
He does not have much answers and is not concerned at all about my injuries. Mostly ask other doctors for simple answers . Not informing at all what the next step is and bothered by my questions and concerns. I feel the pain and pain management is not very safe at all. He explain I can get better or worse but says I can go to work at full throttle. In a back injury 30 pounds is a lot. Working for Homedepot is asking a lot for my back.I am going ng to ask for a second opinion. Waste of a year. Julietta
The wait was not long, the staff was very attentive and friendly. Dr Schechter, thank you for so patiently explaining my diagnosis to me.
I had a very good experience at Orthopedic Center of South Florida. Very organized checkin ,wait was minimal. Dr Shecter was very kind and knowledgeable and explained everything in layman’s terms. Checkout was very quick

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
