List of Patrick Villicana's Reviews
Dr. Villicana is either not well trained or just simply careless of a urologist. After one single ultrasound he prescribed medication, when that backfired instead of further testing he prescribed another one, both worsening my symptoms and pain significantly… Thank God I got a second opinion, in my first visit to another Urologist thanks to 2 tests I got an answer. Please dont go here!
Dr. Villicana is amazing however his staff of Physician assistants are rude, unprofessional, and non responsive when it comes to addressing matters involving insurance pre-authorizations. I will be looking elsewhere due to his staff's incompetence. Consider other options before seeing him.
This man has been a God send to me. I don't know what I'd do without his level head and kind heart. He truly makes it feel like you're visiting with a friend. Thanks Doc ☺️
Ignore the positive review on Zocdoc. This office overbooks like crazy & then has you waiting in the halls until it's your turn. Go to another doctors office where they respect your time.
Dr. Villicana is a skilled and knowledgeable physician with a personable manner. He took the time to explain and answer all of my concerns. He was kind enough to get me an appointment for the same day day which greatly lessened my anxiety. I am truly grateful for his help. I strongly recommend him if you are looking for a top notch uroligist !
I don't post reviews of anything but in this case I feel very compelled to express my opinion in case it helps someone who could relate. I do a lot of research on health providers before scheduling for family members, but I must say Dr. Patrick Villicaña and everyone in the office in fact even exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to provide quality care to a dear family member. Dr. Villicaña is extremely cautious, explains with great level of interest and detail (which is very rare and comforting), and was not at all dismissive of anything even seemingly suspicious. He also made sure to order multiple tests within a short period of time given our nervousness, and then he was able to communicate with us very promptly. I personally know people feeling dragged with exams for weeks and months. It's very difficult to be waiting nervously for test results, so I'm very appreciative that they understand that. Overall, I highly recommend!
I have had a very positive experience with the doctors work. I would recommend him both for his bedside manner and for his knowledge and expertise. Doctor V did a great job explaining my procedure to me and making me comfortable with the entire experience.
Had a surgery. UNCARING DOCTOR!
My daughter had an obructed kidney stone causing severe pain and was hospitalized. Dr. Villicana came to see her and explained everything that he saw, the three options she had, and answered all of our questions. He has an incredible bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, and very kind. My daughter is terrified of hospitals and needles and he was very mindful of that. I highly recommend Dr. Patrick Villicana if you need a Urologist. A huge thank you doctor for taking suck great care of my 21 year old baby girl.
I feel this doctor feels apathy for the patient. Took my elderly mother to check for UI on three occasions. The first two the doctor took urine samples but did not bother to physically examine my mother. The third time we went because of blood in the tissue so I finally asked him to take a look. Doctor dismissed it with OTC Neomycin. Well, after going to dermatologist, turns out mom had a lot of diaper rash blisters hence the blood. The bills however, they were prompt to arrive. I feel I did not have to ask the doctor for a physical exam and with his years of experience he should have alert me as to what was going on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
