Cant answer their phones after 10am
Dr. Chirinos is the type of doctor that actually takes the time to get to know you. I can’t say enough kind things about his care.
They don’t even deserve 1 star. I came to this office referred by my doctor. I came 10 minutes early and it was very hot I was sweating really bad. I spoke to the lady at the desk and talked about my co-pay and told them I’m going to schedule a appointment with another doctor. The lady then took my personal information with my social security and ID and medical card in placed it outside the door in the mailbox for someone to have access to my information. I called the police and she took my papers and did god knows what with them and gave them back when the police came. After leaving the office I got 3 private calls from the same lady that works in the office threatening me and said I messed with the wrong doctors office. I called the police in made the report. Beware of this place very unprofessional.
I told the doctor about my gallbladder pain and he didn’t order any tests. I told him about all my classic symptoms and he told me to drink water and stop chewing gum. I suggested a CT scan and he agreed to sign off on it. Months later and I saw another gastroenterologist and he ordered a HIDA scan for me for Monday. I can’t wait, I’m in so much pain. I wish I had done this sooner.
Very impressed. He was attentive listener and provided great feedback. I really happy he understood my concerns. Answer my questions. No rushing at all. Took his time and was very clear with his findings.
Dr Chirinos is amazing. He has been my primary doctor and gastroenterologist for almost 20 years. Great listener, attentive and caring.
Best doctor ever has taken care of my mom for years. Listens to your concerns and is really good at what he does. Also Alexandra at the front desk is wonderful always has a smile.
Great doctor that takes the time to treat you like a patient an not like a number to bill the insurance company. Will highly refer him.
Let me start by saying Dr. Chirinos's office staff was wonderful, super friendly, answered all my billing questions, returned my calls promptly, and helped me set up my appointment very easily. Dr. Chirinos himself was a very friendly older man, he took the time to look over my medical history that I had brought with me, he asked me questions to get a better idea of what was going on, and spent a lot of time explaining the many things that it could be. He did everything you'd want a doctor to do. So why the 3 stars you ask?! Well here's why: 1.) My wait time was a lot longer than I expected (like 45 mins) considering I was the only person in the office when I arrived that morning, and they took someone else (who arrived after me) in before me, that drives me absolutely crazy. I could see if the person was going through something serious, but from the convo we had while he had his 5 minute wait, he seemed perfectly fine to me. Just saying... 2.) Although Dr. Chirinos did take the time to answer and ask questions, at the end he suggest I get a procedure Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), where he would look around in my tummy to see what was going on, maybe even take some samples to test as well. Sounds good right??? That's what I thought too..until I found out how much this "simple" procedure costs. Let's just say I have a deductible to meet and I would've have been paying a lot out of pocket, not exactly $ I have lying around. To the credit of Dr. Chirinos, my insurance plan isn't his responsibility. I get that. What I didn't like was that when I asked if there were alternative testing we could try, or even alternative medicine I could test out before going through with this, I got a polite N-O and was told to call back when I could afford the procedure... Now I'm no doctor, but as a medical professional whose specializes in GI issues, I would have at least expected to be given 1 or 2 other options besides the EGD. Is that too much to ask?! Me thinks not! Either way, I will most likely be going to see another specialist before coming back here, If they all try to give me the same story, I will come back and let you know. If you don't see an update to this post, let that be your answer. The moral of this story: If you have the $$$ to do expensive procedures Dr. Chirinos is your man, if you need other more budget friendly options first before jumping in head-first, you may want to look elsewhere.
No Physician Assistants in this office. You will see Dr. C every time! He's wonderful. So refreshing to go into a doctor's office and be seen by the same person, especially a doctor!! Highly Recommended.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
