List of South Florida Oncology And Hematology Consultants Plantation's Reviews
Dr. Amin is the best doctor I have ever seen. He is extremely thorough, professional and puts you at ease. His staff and nurses are very good. Glad I found this facility. Thank you!
Doctor Harshad Amin is the best doctor I ever know, he is a great professional but the most important thing for the patients with cancer is that he is a very caring person.
Doctor have no filter and is very rude.
I had a great experience at the Office of South Florida Oncology & Hematology in Plantation Florida. The office staff was very attentive and pleasant and the Medical personnel was very professional and caring. The place is very well organized, clean and follows all the safety regulations in place due to COVID 19I am very happy to be a patient at this officeThat is why I gave it Five Stars.
This office does not deserve a star. I attempted to make a new patient appointment over the phone. The young lady was unprofessional and disconnected the call. When I called back to address the issue with the office manager. To my surprise according to the front desk staff, she's currently unavailable at the moment. I explain to the staff what transpired her response "She did not witness her coworker being rude while she sat next to her." Based on the office review the staff is known for being rude. Since management has yet to address the issues it clearly means they do not care about the patients. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest everyone else do the same.
Love this office since the moment you walk in to getting labs and procedures done everyone is super nice.
I am very happy so far with my Doctor Amin. He is thorough, knowledgeable and caring. When I was hospitalized he or someone from his office came to see me everyday. With my diagnosis I need to know my doctor cares and will offer the best treatments available. Yes, he is very busy and sometimes I have to wait to see him but that is minimal compared to the level of care he has shown to me. Thank you Doctor Amin. Forever grateful patient.
Great experience.. very thorough, got a call from the Dr himself... explained all my results
Called several weeks ago to schedule an appointment with Dr. Melo. Call went to voice mail the first time. I left a message with my phone number. The second time, the answering service answered even though it was after their stated lunch break time. Again, gave my phone number and described my need. Still waiting for a call back....
Dr. Melo is a very polite and highly skilled Dr., however, his office staff is rude at the front desk, when you attempt to call your on hold long times and then when you speak to someone its as if they are rushing to get you off of the phone. 1/22/2018 front desk woman did not acknowledge my good morning and rudely asked for my copay. 1/23/2018 I called to speak with a nurse regarding a script my husband needed as he was just discharged from hospital. I left a voicemail in the AM and got no response. I called after lunch and was told I would get a call back. It is now 1/26/2018 and never received a call back. I attempted to call local pharmacy's and what do you know they called it in to a pharmacy we no longer use. Had they called me back I would have been able to advise them of the change. This is a specialist office, hence, people with serious conditions needing proper follow up and case management. My phone call with Andrina in the office today showed that at least one employee can be polite and offer assistance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
