List of Veena Subramanian's Reviews
Every single time I call this office, for whatever the reason may it be a referral, a prescription refill or approval they have a less then hospitable approach and a lack of care and professionalism . It’s like my medical condition is an inconvenience to them. Seriously off putting.
Dr Veena Subramanian and her medical assistant is awesome however, I experienced terrible customer service from management which is unfortunate. Zero empathy or compassion and no solutions were provided, just a cold exchange. It would've been nice to be told that a referral needed to be received by 3:30 pm 1 day prior to your appointment. I was called at 4pm and told the referral department was closed so oh well, I'll have to be rescheduled in 3 weeks.
The worst office. They cancel appointments on the spot and are incompetent and unprofessional. They don’t really care for patients find another doctor.
I had a terrible experience at this doctor's office. In September I made an appointment for myself .The appointment was made for September 14, but since it was only to give me results of some tests, I called to see the possibility of including my husband . It was after 2 in the afternoon of the day before the appointment. The lady that answered told me it was possible and she would confirm looking at my husband insurance information. She called me back two hours later telling me my husband should have to pay a 270 deductible for the appointment. I Answered that I would consult my husband. I was able to reach my husband 3 hours later and called to cancel the appointment since he could not afford that amount at the time of the appointment. A very kind gentleman answered me, I explained to him and he told me that he cancelled the appointment. I called in the morning of the next day to reconfirm my appointment because I had several appointments since I got lot of issues with my health and they told me that I did not have an appointment, I could not go, the appointment they did was my husband's. Then they put me in touch with the doctor's assistant, who speaks Spanish, the same one who spoke in a derogatory, arrogant and spoiled tone and told me that she was doing me a favor because English is spoken in that place (the answering machine at that center has an option in Spanish, I asked to speak with someone who speaks Spanish since I could misunderstand something because I speak a little English). She was extremely rude and clearly discriminatory. Now they send accounts for "no show" when they were the ones who made a mistake by canceling an appointment instead of the other one. The argument they gave: cancel the appointment within 24 hours before the appointment; Just two questions and you evaluate the quality of this office and the professionals behind it 1. Why do they accept appointments within 24 hours without indicating that it can't be cancelled? 2. Why when the lady called to give the payment amount she confirmed my appointment when I told her I would ask my husband. If they give appointments within 24 hours, from my point of view again , they have the obligation to indicate that it cannot be canceled, so if I decide to schedule the appointment with that knowledge, it it would be under my responsibility.

Dr Subramanian was great very attentive and thorough. The office staff is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. I had an appointment cancelled because they didn’t request the referral. I was hung up on and after having a test done the results were not passed on to the doctor who requested it. The frustrating part is my follow up appointment with the requesting physician was 30 days after the test was done and they never sent the results. If you go to this office be prepared to do a lot of follow up.
Loved her! She kept trying until she found something to help my migraines! She's very sweet and extremely smart!
I would not recommend Dr. Subramanian. She was not helpful in anyway, did not listen to me when i told her about the side effects of medication, and would not discuss any other issues that I was having. Upon check in I filled in a survey regarding mental health and despite endorsing multiple symptoms of anxiety and depression Dr. Subramanian did not even bring it up to me. She did not care about the costs associated with any of the procedures and medications that she forced me to get, while knowing that our insurance did not cover it. She actually laughed when I told her about the insurance and when I said that what she ordered was thousands of dollars her only response was to laugh again and say “that’s only because you don’t have insurance.” She refused to help me with any other problems and instead referred me to another doctor that will only require more money, time, and energy. When I told her about the side effects to my medication she told me that was abnormal and that most people do not experience side effects. However, this is statistically incorrect. Multiple scholarly articles all state that anywhere between 60-80% of patients on the medication to experience substantial side effects.
After being rescheduled 2 months later they cancel my appointment again. You can’t get your own medical records from them. From the staff to the Dr all unprofessional. I’ve worked with Dr’s offices and hospitals before, this is not how an office should act especially when we are coming to them for medical attention. Do not bother scheduling with them you will wait for nothing because they will reschedule or cancel you all the time!
Very professional and attentive Drs and team. Does not dismiss or ignore issues. Full attention full care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
