After years of being in pain, I finally went to see Dr Ritter. I was drawn to him because he actually sits down and talks to you like a human and not just rush you out the door.. He explained to me that I had 2 herniated discs. After sitting with me and showing me my X-rays, we decided to fix the worst one first. That was a year ago. He came to see me every day in the hospital and explained everything to my husband and I. Now I'm ready for surgery # 2 and I wouldn't trust anyone but Dr. Ritter

I had decompression surgery with Dr Ritter two years ago and my back pain is worse now than ever in my life and Dr Ritter last told me "I was fine " according to the X-rays he had taken and that i was overreacting ! I wouldn't recommend this man to anyone

No patience to listen and understand what the problem is. Dr Ritter did a decompression surgery procedure on me and am no longer able to walk or sleep without being in extreme pain and discomfort. My life has been changed for the worse since having my operation and Dr Ritter says i am fine and a crybaby !

Dr. Ritter was everything I could have asked for my situation and more. Not only was my situation treated with the appropriate seriousness in his office as it had not been in the offices of other physicians, but Dr. Ritter was exemplary in both his professionalism and his compassion. As a young man undergoing a serious procedure that is uncommon for people my age, Dr. Ritter was amazing at keeping me completely informed about my situation and making sure I was relaxed, comfortable, and confident in the process going forward. The procedure itself was executed perfectly and I am confident that I will make a full recovery going forward, thanks to Dr. Ritter.

I am scheduled for ACDF surgery Monday but so far, I like Dr. Ritter. He explained things and showed me my x rays, pinpointing what was wrong. His office staff is great and I’m looking forward to a successful outcome

For 7 years I had tried everything imaginable to cure myself of sciatica but eventually I decided on surgery after the pain became too severe. During my last flare up I could no longer walk even across the house or sleep more than 3 hours a night. I spoke with 5 doctors, including both orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons, and Dr. Ritter was the one I was most comfortable with. He explained the issue well, reviewed images thoroughly, and recommended the treatment that aligned with my research. Also, Maria was exceptional in handling the scheduling and insurance authorizations once surgery was decided. A few weeks later I had the decompression surgery and knew things were different as soon as I woke up in recovery. My sciatica was gone in my left leg immediately after the procedure. It is now 3 weeks after surgery and just last Sunday I walked 6 miles. Dr. Ritter changed my life and gave me my mobility back.

I met Dr. Ritter in an emergency room where he immediately made me feel confident in his ability to operate on my head with a successful recovery. He, his surgical team and office staff were always very professional. Additionally, they knew how to speak to my family and I to assure we were addressing and receiving the best care. I would highly recommend Dr. Ritter for your surgical needs.
