Bartley Miller Posting publicly Learn more about writing reviews on Google I am the POA of a 54 year old stroke victim with complex medical conditions and partially paralyzed. We saw Dr. Shaikh as the assigned PCP under the Aetna Silver Plan. We have seen many doctors over the past year. Dr. Shaikh was by the far most caring, understanding, knowledgeable and importantly listened carefully about the patients current medical condition. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable of stroke complications and the numerous medical complexities related to the stroke. Dr. Shaikh was the first doctor to know what to do medically and what type of medical and other medical therapies are needed to provide the patient with the best medical outcome possible. For the first time, I had a doctor who immediately made over 6 medical referrals and request for certain medical equipment. None of the other doctors or assisted care facilities physicians ever made these request because they were not invested in the patient's medical care and trying to improve their lives. I strongly and without any hesitation recommend Dr. Shaikh to anyone with a stroke or other major medical condition. He is caring and truly invested in the patients well-being. Also, Dr. Shaikh's office staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The resident physician who first saw the patient before Dr. Shaikh was just a wonderful, friendly smiling person who really knows how to speak to the patient with kindness and caring to obtain the most complete information from the patient, but most importantly very knowledgably of the patients condition. Nurse David was also exemplary in the entire medical exam process and follow up that was needed.
