They care for my health well so far

Both my husband and I have been patients of Broward Family Medical for almost 10 years. We see Dr. Megan Waskin. She is a phenomenal practitioner with an incredible bedside manor. She is thorough, patient and kind and really listens and understands. She takes her time with her patients and you never feel rushed or overlooked. She actually reviews your chart and history before seeing you and is always fully prepared. The office is great and they do labs in house, which is wonderful. The entire staff is kind, proficient and extremely welcoming We are treated like family, and that is what you should expect when seeing your family doctor. We are beyond grateful for all of the care we continue to receive at Broward Family Medical.

Dr. Waskin twice over told the patient that a tumor was benign and now the patent has stage 4 cancer. Unacceptable and should be reprimanded.

No problems with Dr. Waskin, but his staff is “know it all” and zero help. When you are sick they are not available for you, appointments get mixed. I stopped by in person to make an appointment for a pre-op surgery and was turned around as usual. First the lady said you cannot schedule until your paperwork is received. Well I made sure it was faxed over AND brought a copy. Then without even checking she says we didn’t receive it yet. My wife pointed out that she didn’t even look and another cascade of excuses was the answer. My wife canceled all appointments with the office (future annual check ups), but I wont be surprised if they try to charge me a no show fee as they attempted before for the appointment that they scheduled without my knowledge.

The doctors are awesome, but the staff not all but some could be a little bit better meaning bed side manor.

Just tried to make a first time appointment for a physical. Was told they don't see new patients till June and the first appointment is to know the patient, not for why you need to see him. That would be the next appointment. What a total waste of money. Plus if he was assigned as your doctor, what are you supposed to do before June! Very disappointed by the receptionist's attitude.

The whole staff is very friendly, puts your needs first. Very professional and very thorough.

Worst office staff ever. It's mind boggling how this Dr can tolerate the rudeness they exude. He's been my primary for many years but I'm done. They are poison.

Save yourself from grief you will experience at this office & find another PCP. The office staff will not treat you with any grain of dignity or respect. People go to the doctor's office for help, not to be treated as an inconvenience or to be the victim of unimaginably rude and unprofessional behavior. If you don't want to care about people, get out of the healthCARE business.
