List of Kory Vaughn's Reviews
Went to Piedmont ER Newnan, GA in November 2021. Dr. Vaughn was the dr on duty. I had a high fever for 4 days along with other symptoms I could not shake. Once Dr Vaughn was informed I had cancer his focus shifted to cancer vs what landed me in the ER. I had just had scans done ordered by my oncologist 3 weeks prior to this visit. Dr Vaughn sent me for the exact scans. He came into the room to tell me he was waiting for my oncologist to call him back. Two hrs later he tells me nothing I didnt already know about my cancer. It appeared he was more enthusiastic about talking with my oncologist and learning than trying to figure out why I was so sick with what was very much inline with COVID or influenza symptoms. I was not tested for COVID or anything else. I was soon discharged with the same prescription that I currently had with no diagnosis. I too have BCBS PPO but he is a nonparticipanting provider. Today, I received a bill of 2089.00 for his services that left me dumbfounded.
I did not consent to see Dr. Vaughn at Piedmont in Newnan ER. I have one of the best insurance carriers BCBS PPO yet he was out of network because he contracts out with the hospital. Shame on you! Thanks for the $2000 Dr. bill! When I have a $30 copay.Surprise billing! Be Aware when you walk into the ER.
Dr Vaughn was the Doctor on call when I visited the ER at Piedmont Newnan. Dr Vaughn was one of the most through, efficient and kindest Dr I have seen in a while.......

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
