List of Ammar Hemaidan's Reviews
The manner in which he treats patients is disgusting. I've never had such a condescending, uncaring doctor visit in my life. He's happy to take your money out of pocket for a visit, which isn't cheap, comes in barely listening to anything you say, and then tells you if you want medicine you can go pay another doctor somewhere else. I'm sorry, I thought you were the specialist that people pay to come to see for a chronic illness? When you ask why he won't provide medicine you need to help get you through the flare of your disease, he becomes even more rude, claims that they never prescribe the medication you ask for (even though it's the only location you visit), and begins to treat you as if you are some kind of drug addict coming in off the street, despite having numerous years of records from visits to their facility, and recent hospital tests. Then he'll be glad to send you to be a test subject for trials of medicines, which he's obviously receiving a kickback from. Worst Doctor.
Don't know why you pay to see him (which is very costly), he has no interest in helping you. Very rude and condescending, has no human respect for a patient. Quick to take your expensive payment to see him, tells you if you want medicine to get you through your chronic illness you can go see a regular doctor (when you are paying him to be the SPECIALIST), then is quick to send you for medical trials of which he is obviously making more money. Should not be in practice. Even if you go to this facility, see anyone else, you will regret it. His patients are dollar signs to him, and nothing more.
Very rude and quick to pass judgement. Didn't care about talking about what needed to be done to fix the problem, first thing out of his mouth was he needs to stop drinking and kept on with a big long speech even after asked we just wanted to know how we are going to fix the issue that was happening now, the drinking part we already knew that and long past that issue to be brought up. Worst bedside manner i have ever seen in any doctor!
If you want to see a doctor who acts as if you are bothering him if you ask any questions or if you love vague explanations then this is your guy!!
saw Dr. H in Titusville- it can be difficult to reach the office by phone- wait time may be more than a few minutes, his bedside manner may put you off- HOWEVER, after listening to my history, he recommended both upper and lower GI scopes, pushed a reluctant me. scheduled ASAP-When I awakened from the tests, he was standing there with a surgeon, showed me a pic on his phone of a colon growth, and said "it has to come out, I can tell by looking"- biopsy proved him right -knows his business
I've never been to a doctors office where the office staff remove your sticker from the sign in sheet and fail to sign you in. Waited for over an hour to be told they "forgot" to sign me in... Never got to see the Dr., but if he operates the same way his front desk does I'm glad I didnt!!!! Find a Dr with a real office and staff!!!!
Stay away! If I could give him 0 stars, I would. I went in on referral from my GP for a specific concern, at her request, and I was dismissed pretty readily. Hemaidan came in, didn't ask me about the concern, made broad sweeping assumptions about my lifestyle and health without so much as asking me about said, and gave me a condescending canned speech that sounded like he tells it to everyone who sees him with "acid reflux" in their chart. He then proceeded to recommend that I get a gastric balloon to help lose weight and "so [I] can learn how to eat", even though I was there for something entirely unrelated... and I'm a long-distance endurance triathlete on a restricted eating plan for training. I've never felt so humiliated in my life. And then he mentioned that he does that procedure all the time, but insurance doesn't usually cover the gastric balloon procedure, as it's considered cosmetic, and it seemed pretty clear that this was about the money.

Dr.Hemaidan has been very helpful. Being 43 I was so scared but him An his staff have been great helping me with all my questions An I’m very proud to say I’ve been healthy An alcohol free since I was diagnosed over a year ago an I feel great . So thank you for everything!!
I have diabetic gastroparesis and autonomic neuropathy which ultimately is the issue. Dr. Hemaiden listened to me for over 20 minutes explain my history and offered treament suggestions. Six small meals (liquid or grinded) a day and erythromycin wihch treats the gastroparesis. He offered a study to me, and being in the medical field I told him I would do the trial study. He explained it would be in Port Orange and asked if I would be ok driving there. He was very nice!! I went back to work and was extremely happy with my outcome. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the erythromycin never got called in, however I did leave a message and will upate my rating if nothing happens with the script. For everyone complaining, Doctors see a wide variety of people everyday and not every doctor's personality can mesh with the patient. Not every one gets along!! I would recommend him, as I already have and will continue seeing him. If you have a complaint, find a new doctor. Dont bash every doctor you see because they wouldn't do what YOU wanted. It's their license and their choice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
