List of Brett Snyder's Reviews
Dr Snyder is wonderful, so smart and with the aesthetic skills of a highly talented artist. We are so lucky to have him in the Napa Valley.
I recently had a face lift by Dr Brett Snyder in Napa, CA. My goal was to tighten the skin on my neck and jawline without altering my appearance. Dr Snyder exceeded my expectations! My recovery was very quick (I was out to dinner in 3 days and back to normal activities, including exercise, in 2 weeks) and I had almost no pain (I only took acetaminophen). I also had very little bruising and have no visible scars. I am absolutely thrilled with my result! After only four weeks I have friends asking “what have you done to your skin, it looks flawless?” Though I was initially nervous to have the surgery, Dr Snyder's calm demeanor and professionalism were very reassuring. I'm so happy that I had the procedure and I cannot recommend Dr Snyder more highly!
Dr. Snyder did my tummy tuck and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He took the time to explain everything and made sure my recovery went well. I’ve recommended him to many family and friends for different procedures and everyone has loved their results. I have also been really happy with Dr. Snyder’s approach with injectables and I highly recommend him.
I had several surgeries with him on my breast and spent thousands of dollars at Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. Not only he botched it (consulted a prominent plastic surgeon in CA) and didn’t apply proper technique to have results that I expected but denied my care to correct. Now I have to spend $30,000 plus to correct his doing. Not only I will not recommend him but it is terrifying experience I had. He refused to correct his mistakes and refused to make it right. Now he moved to CA to botch.
I spent thousand of dollars and had several surgeries with him. I had really poor results. He refused to address it. His administrative assistant Nancy bullied me. Last year I had consult with an excellent surgeon in CA who explained what went wrong. I have to pay to redo all that he did. Terrible surgeon and horrible human being. Took my money and didn’t care about results. Watch it! He doesn’t care!
Had rhino surgery and wish I had never done it. Asked. For nose to be thinned out and it’s worse than when in. Someone actually said you would be so much cuter if you had your nose fixed. I told them I did, response, get your money back. It’s been three years or better and nose is no better.
Dr. Snyder did an amazing job on my tummy tuck and I have been reccomending him to EVERYONE!!! My belly button is so natural and the entire experience was amazing. I am so thankful
I had eyelid surgery with Dr. Brett Snyder in Feb. 2019 and was not pleased with results. My left eyelid was left with a droopy fold. He finally did a revision after I had been back several times. The revision took about 5 minutes in the surgery room. I developed an infection in the eyelid after the revision and was given antibiotics. At my follow up visit I complained to him that my eyelid still had a droopy fold and didn’t look any better. I asked if he planned to do another revision and he just shook his head no. In fact a friend told me the other day that my left lid needed to be re-done and she works in the cosmetic medical field. I’m saving my money to go elsewhere to get it corrected. Very disappointing - I thought this Center was supposed to be “the best”!! Maybe they are over rated.???
Review of Dr Brett Snyder. Everyone I know including people who work at PVPS told me they would not trust their face to anyone but Brett Snyder. And so I trusted. I paid $20,000 for a chin lift, brow lift and laser around the eyes and mouth. It's two years later and I'm still trying to get things right, as my lips are full of wrinkles and my forehead is wavy. I also still have numbness in my throat and neck. Dr. Snyder did try fillers in my forehead (which I found out later that fillers should not be injected into the forehead) and my lips but they didn't work. At this point I am beyond tired of going back to have him fix things because it's now been two years, and I think he thinks he's done his job. Instead of filling my forehead and lips full of fillers that won't last, he should have REDONE my forehead and lips. But no, that was never an option even though I asked. He gave me some talk-speak about having to go through general anesthetic again, blah blah blah. I REMEMBER HIS WORDS BEFORE SURGERY WHEN I PRAISED HIS REPUTATION. "YOU'RE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST SURGERY." Well if I'm his best, look out folks! So I went back in today, one last time to see what he was willing/able to do. I showed him a picture of my lips that I took in the mirror at home and his response: "they don't look that way in here, you were puckering." PUCKERING!!!! SO insulting. I was not puckering. Then I asked him if the numbness/neuropathy was every going to go away (it's been 2 years). His response: I don't know because no one has ever asked me that two years out. What????? He doesn't know because no one ever asked him? What kind of answer is that. And of course he deflected by correcting me that it was numbness, not neuropathy. This guy is all about keeping power of the discussion through deflection and spewing medical terms at lightening speed. He was clearly fed up with me, and me with him. He gave me very leveled "doctor respect," which is just a cover up for whatever it was he was really feeling. So, my chin looks very good. I will go elsewhere for filler, especially if altering failing to get rid of the wrinkles and leaving me with a wavy forehead (which he no longer sees -- how convenient). $20K Cha Ching! One last thing that I never reviewed, but shared with them, was the comfortable, dirty environment where they keep people overnight. I'm told that my feed back caused them to fix this situation, but now that it has all turned to a steaming mess I'll share. They have you spend the night, but don't offer any food. I think now they are telling people to bring good. I was in a horribly uncomfortable recliner with dirty cup holders and floors, plaster coming off the walls. I was post surgical and bottoming out, and needed food. She found me something in the refrigerator that probably belonged to an employee. So beautiful and lush where the public can see, dirty and horrible the part that the public cannot see. Both physically and interactively. I'm done with these guys who think they are the greatest, who mostly want to hawk producers and expensive surgeries. He does help third world children by mending cleft pallets, so that's one positive thing I can say about him. He is fake polite and friendly in an oh-so-doctorish way. I find him intimidating because he knows the medicine and can argue anything he likes in medical-ese, and it's pretty hard to go up against him. When he went through the records though, he didn't remember a lot of things, and said things were not done that showed up in the records as being done. FOLLOW UP: Since I wrote this review 6 weeks ago or so, a woman named Jennifer who represented Ponte Vedra Plastic Risk Management called me. I couldn't talk to her at the time, but was heartened, whether right or wrong, that someone was actually following up on my reviews and the things I said. We agreed to talk the next day but I never heard from her, so I called her and got her voice mail. She called again once more but I missed the call. I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN.

These guys are resting on their Laurels, and I will never go back, after many years of going there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
