List of Katherine Billingsley's Reviews
I saw Dr. Billingsley 2 years ago. I was dissatisfied with her service and demeanor.
I find Dr. Billingsley to be patient, knowledgeable and compassionate. She listens to my questions and responds completely and clearly. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of her care.
I agree with the other one star bad ratings of Dr Billingsley. She got upset with me cause I refused to get the covid shot left the room then came back in and said "time to go". I had only been in the exam room 15 minutes or less. My appointment should have been 30 minutes. I didn't get to talk to her about a problem i was having. She has no business being a doctor.
This is someone who made it through medical school without being taught manners towards patients. The test she had done on me were needless and only for her to make money. She claimed I had anxiety and depression. Turns out I have cancer... I understand mistakes. This lady thought I was drug seeking. This lady is not a doctor in my book.
I used tone a patient so this doctor. She misdiagnosed a condition without performing Any tests. I later went to a specialist who diagnosed me with the appropriate tests
saw her for years as primary md. when she sold out to HCA/ R quality of care went way down- doesnt take criticism well Too many patients for quality time
I am sure she has knowledge, but I gave her one star, because she certainly didn't demonstrate it when I went for my initial appointment. She barely auscultated my heart and lungs, and I had to ask her to order a mammo. No breast or any other kind of examination, and I have a history. I filled out my preliminary paperwork in concise detail, but she barely looked at it. Instead, she focused on the computer, barely looking up at me. Poor, poor interaction. Staff was actually very nice, but I can see that they are somewhat afraid of this woman. She is just terrible! She billed my insurance company over $600 for doing very little. She didn't even order labs, or an EKG, and I am 65 years old, and entitled to these tests per Medicare guidelines. I actually went to another doctor who confided to me that Dr. Billingsley really does need to retire. Apparently, she has always been negative and hateful.
I only saw Billingsley once, I have seen Lisa the NP and the prior NP and they were both GREAT. Dr. Billingsley on the other hand was incredibly rude and short with me. I am Diabetic and because I had not had my 3 month blood work done she basically yelled at me like a child and said I was being "Non Compliant". Uh, she had even ordered the blood work, I was seeing her as a new patient. As others have said her bedside manner is horrific but again I like the others in her office.
I have seen Doctor Billingsley for fifteen years and find her to be caring and knowledgeable. Sometimes she is a bit rushed since Obamacare but she always takes time to listen to my symptoms and never hesitates to order necessary tests but does not order unnecessary tests. She has always been 100% right in her diagnosis. She refers me to a specialist when necessary. She has had several staff and procedural changes since Obamacare and the new staff is not as efficient as the old staff. I would recommend Dr. Billingsley to anyone who wants a good general practitioner.
Dr. Billingsley did not take my health concerns seriously. She seemed rushed and there was no doctor and patient CONSULTATION. I could not tell her anything without her cutting me off in uncaring manner. For example, I told her about the pain in my shoulder, she said "Take some Tylenols". I said "I have been taking Tylenols, but they don't seem to be helping me". She rolled her eyes and said "Well, you have chronic arthritis, take some Tylenols...Why do you think you are sick when you are not?" I left her office without getting an answer for my pain. The following week I went to see another doctor only to find out that I had a ruptured tendon in my shoulder. Needless to say Dr. Billingsley is not a "GOOD" doctor you are looking for.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
