I would like to add to this, I have never had a problem with the lady at the front desk she has been there for a very long time and she checks you in but is no way her fault for the wait time that the patients have to see the Doctor. She is very friendly and very helpful. The staff are also very helpful, The Doctor has a wait as he is an expert in patient care and making sure that you are well taken care of along with the PA-C's that work there. Hats off to CPMC
Your wait time is between 3 to 5 hours a visit. His staff runs the place, Dr. always late and defends his staff who abuse you! Warning, if there's an issue with a worker, just let them treat you with disrespect or you're out of there! it was a very traumatic experience! Went there on and off for long time!
Dr. Ghosh is in the healthcare industry for the right reasons. He cares about his patients, and anyone who failed to give anything but a 5 star rating did not show him the respect that he deserves and shows in return, threefold. Dr. Ghosh listens to his patients, and before determining what plan of action he will take, he gets your complete history, medical and personal. You are not seen as just another number at his clinic, nor by his staff. His PA is just as awesome!!
I have no issues with the doctor or the medical staff there. The biggest problem they have and the reason that I will not visit this clinic again is the horrible service from the front office people there. Very rude and they do not care how long they keep you waiting. Horrible attitudes especially for someone should be working with the public. I have been going here for quite some time now and have never waited less than 45 minutes and up to two hours after my appointment time to be seen.Awful!
wait times up to 3 hours.
Very caring and interested in helping each patient as an individual not a diagnosis. He spends time with each patient to try and listen and give care. That being said, you can expect to spend some time in his waiting room. When there is a change in your pain, he will order tests to see what the change is from. In my own disc herniation worsened. He advised me see neurosurgeon.
Very helpful and caring!
Yes, there is a long wait, but government regulations have put stricter controls on pain medications and pain doctors require certification in this new rules. The doctors that treat my chronic conditions specialize in their field and now because of these regulations can not dispense pain medications if they do not meet these government requirements. Therefore there are not as many Doctors qualified to write our prescriptions. This isn't the fault of the doctors. The demand does not meet the need. I found Dr Ghosh to be thorough in his examination, his knowledge of pain, was compassionate, listened to my concerns and showed concern with my pain. He has an excellent assistant, Gina. John the intake nurse was friendly and professional. The office staff that I dealt with were all friendly. My wait was a month for my first appointment. Previously I have waited 3 months to see other specialists, so I did not consider that overly long.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
