Belkis Cepero's Online Review Report Card

I lost my appointment. I tried to get another appointment. They told me one available. When I call them back after 10 minutes they said they don't have a system until tomorrow. Is it true?

Dr. Cepero is such a kind and very knowledgeable doctor. She listens to your concerns and explains everything with detail. You never feel rushed. I highly recommend her as a Pediatrician.

Only like well children it's all about quick money. Please find another Dr.

She’s the most Amazing Dr my daughter has been here for almost 7 years! We love her

So My daughter has had a cough since the last week of August. Has had fevers on and off. Her dr said it was allergies then a virus then when it kept going said it was because she’s in daycare and picking up new viruses. They tested her on a Friday for rsv, “strep” and flu and that was negative. That Saturday she was really bad so we took her to the hospital. They did an X-ray on her chest a notice a little bit of stuff and diagnosed it as adenovirus. They gave her a steroid and some cough medicine. They didn’t test for for rsv, strep or flu bc it was just done. By Wednesday (Halloween) she was done with steroid, still had fever and cough was still bad. Brought her back to the drs said it’s allergies or viral blah blah they’ll do another rsv “strep” and flu test. Told me they’d call in 20 minutes with results. No one called, figured it was Halloween they are busy they’ll get back to me in the morning. Nothing. Called to see what was going on and talked to the dr. She said she vaguely remembered me and said they did not do a test. I told her they did bc she was sitting in my lap when they swabbed her. She said she called the lab and checked the records and it must’ve been lost but if it came back positive it’s just viral and she already had a steroid and she’s fine. She seemed better over the weekend but we still skipped her bday party just Incase. Fast forward to today.(11/12) My husband brought her back to the hospital because she had a fever again. They immediately could tell she was having a hard time breathing and all around not feeling well. Chest X-ray again. And it’s streptococcus pneumonia. This whole time I was told she had a strep test done but it never was. You can only test for strep by swabbing the throat. They never did. Poor kid has had it so long it went into her lungs and was told it could’ve been fatal. I am so beyond upset/infuriated.She got an antibiotic shot and will be on the liquid for 10 days. I feel bad bc we’ve been exposing friends and family when all of this could’ve been avoided with a simple throat swab. Needless to say we found a new dr because I can’t take my daughter to a group of people who do not care! 😤😑

I was asked to be there 10 minutes early. I get there 20 minutes earlier than my actual appointment. I was surprised to see that every patient that came in after me was seen and dismissed before me. The NP came into my room to start checking my child. Then was called by the office staff to leave and go see someone else who came into the office after me. I was the last one to finish being seen although I was 20 minutes early for my appointment. Just can't get fair service in this city these days

Dr. Cepero is AMAZING! she truly cares for her patients and treats us like family. She's very kind and patient with first time moms like me, who always have a million questions and concerns. I would never switch to another pediatrician. Her staff is caring and professional too. My only complaint is that we always have to wait at least 40 minutes to see her (her office is always packed!, which is a sign that she's a good Dr), but other than that, I love her!

Love this dr and her staff. I drive from north port. Totally worth driving to sve a good dr for my new baby
