List of Beverly Anarumo's Reviews
Dr. Anarumo is one of the hardest working Doctors I have ever known. She has always seen my children whenever they are sick. She is very knowledgeable and always makes them feel better! She will even call me on the weekend to give me test results or check in on my children. What Doctor do you know who will do that?Sometimes she can be a little spicy probably because she works such long hours but I promise you she has a big heart and truly cares about all the children in her care!!!
we absolutely adore this office! staff and doc listen and work with you! very comfortable setting! doc is so thoughtful and thorough to ensure your child’s needs are met! I would recommend ten times over to go here!! we’re sad to be moving as we are sad we won’t have dr bj anarumo as our pediatrician anymore.. thank you for all you do bj!! be well… i wanted to add i saw some reviews on phil who no longer works their so seems that issue has been addressed.
She is a very thorough Dr. But if your into being treated like a human with feelings then don't see this woman. She is rude and angry for some reason.I was accused of demanding medical records for my grandson when in fact I asked very nicely and even said she could mail them to me if she didn't have time to do it. She has no people skills at all
My children are unvaccinated and I’ve had trouble finding a doctor who will see them under Medicaid. She will not only care for them but she did such a thorough evaluation that took 2 hours and gave me all the needed referrals and blood work. She was great and so was the staff. I’ve just read most of the negative reviews here. Yes her office is disorganized, papers all over the place BUT she is a solo practitioner there handling A-LOT of patients. She’s probably not getting paid well for her time since she accepts Medicaid. I would much rather choose a practitioner who actually loves children, has a space for creativity (she has coloring pages and crayons available and she hangs all the kids art all over) and who uses their brain to get down to the root health problem. I thought she was great. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn’t deserve her. Stick to that doc that keeps shoving meds down your kid!
Where do I begin? To say this pediatrics office is a nightmare is an understatement. It’s taken me 6 months to write this review, because I was too upset to relive the painful experiences we had at this practice. Firstly, the way Phil and Monique (the office manager and receptionist) treat and speak to people is completely unacceptable. My child was so ill she had been in the emergency room twice, urgent bloodwork ordered to determine if she had LEUKEMIA, and Phil’s response to me was “Oh God, what is it now? Did somebody die?” when I called to check in with Dr. Anarumo. That is unforgivable. Then there was the times Monique refused to give Dr. Anarumo a message from me and instead argued with me about whether or not there is a children’s hospital in North Port. 10 minutes on the phone with her talking about how she would treat a 104 degree fever if it were her child, then refusing to give the Dr a message from me, I wasn’t aware Monique had a medical degree. Next, being told they were too busy to see my sick child, and the next available appointment was 48 hours from the time I called. Extremely difficult to get a sick appointment in a timely manner. The phone lines not properly working more than 50% of the time, so it would take hours to get through to the office. Dr. Anarumo talking badly about the med students she has in office, however continuing to have them see her patients. Dr. Anarumo failing to comply with record keeping requirements, therefore losing her license to administer vaccines. DIRTY exam rooms with dirt built up on the floor and cabinets. She uses cardboard wrapping paper tubes as safety mechanisms to keep her exam room cabinets closed. Complete lack of organization and losing medications, medical equipment, and test kits. Yes, these are my firsthand experiences. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO DR. BEVERLY ANARUMO!!!
Phenomenal work, everybody is always so kind and professional. My absolute favorite doctor to go to.
We have had great experiences with Dr. Anarumo. She is very attentive and if we need to be seen her office gets us in as quickly as possible. She will keep trying until she is 100% certain what the problem is. The nurses and staff at the office are wonderful as well. It's def an atmosphere for children at this pediatrician. I've hated going to feel others and feeling like I shouldn't have kids there. They understand kids play even when still sick. Give them pictures to color. They care and enjoy their job, you can definitely tell. …I need to post an edit on this now. My family now sees a different pediatrician. I called one day to make an appointment and the man at the front desk told me that I needed to find a new doctor and that we were not allowed back in their office. I asked for an explanation as to why and he would not give me one. He was so extremely rude. I was bawling my eyes out on the phone with this man and he laughed at me. I’m glad we’ve switched pediatricians since then. Thank you for being so distasteful at this office. We’ve found better.
Gotta love a doctor that isn’t pushy but shares their knowledge. Always feel welcomed and well cared for here - we drive all the way from Sarasota because Dr. Anarumo is worth it!
Always the best!
New to area, have seen Dr anarumo a couple times. I have 2 children and will not be going back! Office staff very rude and unprofessional! Call for a sick visit appt(which are normally same day appt) the gentleman that answered was so rude. He acted like he was bothersome by my call and straight out told me the Dr was too busy to look at my message, return my call and/or see my child.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
