Dr Black is by far the best doctor I've ever had, and all the nurses and staff at Millennium are exceptionally friendly and efficient. Dr. Black takes the time to actually talk with you to see how you are doing, not just analyzing lab work, but how you are doing in both body and mind.

I first met Dr. Black at our local hospital where I was a new LPN. Back in those days, the nurses made rounds with the doctors. When I observed his bedside manner and listened to how he spoke to the patient, explaining everything he was going to do and reviewed the test results in a manor the patient could understand. I thought to myself "this is the kind of doctor I want for myself". I called his office and made myself an appointment. That was almost 40 years ago! He still treats me with the respect, courteousness and genuine caring as he treated that first patient I observed at the hospital. Never rushes through the appointment. I don't what I will do when he retires (I know it will be soon). I have one doctor in mind, but dread the day I have to call for an appointment.

Brent Black is not engaged with his patients and delegates the client interaction to his nurse practitioner. My father's colon cancer was not diagnosed in a timely manner which allowed cancer to spread to his liver and lungs. My mother petitioned for additional testing due to my father's drastic weight loss but her pleas fell on deaf ears. I highly recommend seeking another doctor that cares and listens to their patients.
