List of Crystal Smedley's Reviews
Had a medical emergency and was told to follow up with my urologist, several calls and two visits to her office and 96 hours later ended up back in the er due to no response to my calls and messages
my dad went for a stone surgery and stains removed cystal was very Professional and understand with all my dad medical needs
Dr Smedely is a skilled surgeon and talented doctor. She and office support are both compassionate and professional. Dr Smedley probably saved my life and gone beyond what you could hope for. I highly recommend Dr Smedley.
Difficult to get an appointment Did not do a follow up recommend by previous Dr and a problem went unnoticed for weeks. Very abrupt
I am 66 years old and have never in my entire life met a doctor as nice, friendly, varing and informative as Dr. Smedley. Even when she introduced herself, she stated her name slowly and clearly. She faced me directly and talked directly to me the whole visit. She was reassuring and most informative about why I was there, what they found, what that means, what they were looking for, and what would have been the next step had they found anything. She informed me every step of the way, showed me my CT scan and pointed everything out on the imaging. She even gave me a copy of my report. If I ever had any urologic problems in the future, I will definitely be returning. I've never met a better doctor. Thank you Dr. Smedley.
Caring, compassionate and spot on for difficult urological problems ignored by previous doctors. We feel very fortunate to have found Dr Smedley.
I was referred to Dr Smedley. I had my visit and described my results from my GP. Had an obvious problem that I was told needed attention and testing. Spoke to Dr. Smedley and told her my concerns and reason I am there. She did a urine test, did not spend to much time and told me to come back in 6 months as she did not see the problem my GP saw in 2 different visits. I left with a an appointment for 6 months. Not knowing any better, I was happy to not have to do any testing. I went to my Endocrinologist 3 weeks later, she read all my blood work, same blood work Dr Smedley read and was shocked she said she would see me in 6 months. She told me to absolutely get another Dr. She ordered an ultrasound which I had 3 days later. They found tumors and another word I can not even spell and the radiologist requested I have more testing as what I have could be dangerous and cause death. Bottom line is, it sure is unfortunate that our healthcare has become health UNCARE! I am very disappointed my insurance and I will be paying for a wasted appointment for someone who took no time or concern for what may be very important for attention now, not 6 months from now. I certainly will not be recommending Dr. Smedley to anyone. Thank you Dr. Smedley for absolutely nothing!
My primary care, a neighbor to Dr. Smedley's office, on Harbor Blvd. sent a referral well over a month ago. I never heard from the Dr. Smedley's office so I called toward the end of January. The office said they were going to send me paperwork. No one ever did. I found another urologist and cancelled the appointment on 2/15/22 that I had made with Dr. Smedley's office.
Long story extremely short. She is the only doctor to actually sit down Present all options and listen. Definitely recommend her
Amazing doctor and her staff is incredible too. She takes the time to answer questions. Best doctor I've been to in a long time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
