I've been with Dr. Story some 8 years now. I find him to be knowledgeable, friendly, and takes time to explain things in a caring manner. He is what you would want from a family physician. I find he is not an alarmist and is not big on ordering special tests unless the situation really warrants it. I'd highly recommend him. I have experienced some minor billing issues.

We've been patients with Dr Story since we moved to Port Charlotte four years ago. My husbad, my sister (a retired R.N.) and myself all love him. He always listens to concerns and is receptive to our input. We never ever feel rushed ... wait times are acceptable, and we feel we are in great hands for our care.

Wants to talk more than listen to his patients and takes forever. We already decided not to come here again but we received a bill in the mail showing the way they processed our visits made us owe them $140 even though they assured us we'd only have to pay the $10 copay.

Board Certified, Dr Curtis Story was my fourth try to find a physician since I moved to North Port in 2017. The staff was attentive, and the doctor was of the caliber I've come to expect after 25 years with Dr Ted Kubicki of Va Beach, VA.

I have been a patient of Dr. Story since relocating here two years ago. I am very impressed with his service. His office is upscale, relaxed, and located in a quiet area of Port Charlotte with plenty of nearby parking. I never feel rushed when visiting him. He takes the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions with well thought out responses. He has provided me with excellent referrals for specialties outside of his family medicine practice. Visiting his office is a positive experience.

I have been with Dr. Story for over 7 years, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He always spends plenty of time with me and explains complicated things in a way that I can understand them. He never seems rushed or unconcerned. Dr. Story is intelligent and very compassionate, and makes me feel like a family friend. The office is very nice and I love the fish tank and atmosphere. The nurse Raquel is wonderful.

Best doctor I have ever SEEN! I am very picky about who choose for my healthcare. I was not looking for someone to give me the answers I needed and he even caught some new problems. But he took more than an hour with me and addressed all my concerns and gave me good advice. I'm a little over weight and now Ive lost weight and feel healthier. His staff were all very sweet and caring. Thanks Dr. Story!!!!

After calling several times, I was told my lab results were normal. I requested these results directly from the lab and see several concerns, including high cholesterol. Also, any dr. who places his payment concerns over his patient's needs isn't for me.
