Dr. Kaler is now retired
Dr. Kahler was fantastic. My knee replacement was perfect. I was in rehab for only five days and a month after my surgery I was walking with minimal pain. I did all the exercises as directed and within three months I was mostly pain free
This Doctor botched my surgery. He put the wrong size implant in my knee. Now I chronic pain with fluid in my knee.
I walked into the office in pain and walked out a new woman. Pain free going on 6 years now!
Dr. Kaler was attentive to my shoulder condition and explained the entire procedure by using a model. I felt comfortable with his manner and explanations that he was confident in his ability to fix my shoulder. He also explained the location of surgery and experienced staff that would assist. Being a former FHP Trooper I spent many hours at Fawcett Hospital and agreed with his assessment of the staff there. He was straight forward with me and did not pressure a decision. In the meantime his staff provided a shot that took the pain away now for the past seven months. I am stationed in Japan and will be re contacting him to conduct the surgery.
Dr Kaler is a great Dr, his 2 nurses are awesome..receptionist is nice...xray tech, older woman, needs a wake up call on her attitude, not the friendlist...
Best Surgeon I know , and the Staff are outstanding.
After waiting in the packed waiting room for over an hour, and listening to everyone complain about the wait (and watching a few actually leave), I was finally called back to an examination room, where I again waited about 10 minutes, wearing a pair of paper shorts. They finally came back to take me to the procedure room, where after about 5 minutes, a tech looked in and said that it would be a few more minutes, because the doctor had to take care of 'some lady' (meaning a patient). About 10 minutes later, and just as I was about to leave, the doctor hurried in with his tech & without any apology, did my procedure. The doctor then hurriedly explained the follow up and told ME to call them in a couple days to let them know how I was doing. I will be finding another orthopedic doctor!
Not impressed. Called to set up an appointment and was told that the Dr. may not take me since I had seen a Ortho Dr. for surgery in the past. My surgery was over six years ago. Are we limited to one problem for life? Felt that staff was not interested in dealing with me on any level. Dr. was recommended by Company referral program. I will be calling them and requesting he be removed from our list.
Dr Kaler is a great Dr. He did a total hip on me and I was back to work (sitting) in 3 weeks. His office staff are very courteous. The wait time is nothing like some Dr's I go too. I am very happy having him as my orthopedic surgeon.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
