List of Domingo E. Galliano's Reviews
I have been dealing with chronic pain due to a fissure and Dr. Galliano was able to diagnose my condition and lay out all my options for treatment. Dr. Galliano pointed me in the direction of a conservative approach but also made me aware of other options if the conservative approach were to fail. Dr. Galliano’s staff was very friendly and I felt comfortable speaking with Dr. Galliano about my condition. Very knowledgeable doctor.
My wife had a section of colon removed. It was to be robotic but after several hours he said it was too severe and had to open her abdomen. She then. Had a 10 day recovery in the hospital and a horrible scar. Six weeks later she spent 19 days in the hospital with severe infections. A few months later a large hernia developed due to no muscles being repaired from the incision. He did surgery robotic and said he put mesh inand it would be fine. She now has an extended abdomen which is starting to have more hernia development and has trouble with eating and her digestion. A second opinion said all internals were loose and settled down and any more surgery would be 50-50 at best. She wants no more surgery but this has been a horrible result 4 years later
He saved my life! Thank you,
Poor attitude never saw me the patient before or after my procedure.
Condescending and sarcastic. In and out of exam 3 minutes.
I first went to Dr Galliano after having been very sick for a year with severe & debilitating diverticulitis. He ordered several tests, and performed surgery to remove damaged areas of colon. It was a very big major surgery, very complicated. The results from the surgery have been wonderful. His knowledge and efficiency are remarkable. He made every effort to reconnect colon after removing several inches of very damaged colon, and it has worked very well. He was very attentive to my needs and explained everything along the way. I definitely recommend him to anyone having gastrointestinal problems. His physician assistant, Dr Laura, how I call her, is also wonderful. I feel he was a God send. He pretty much saved my life.
I have been a patient of his for approximately 9 years. You do have a long wait time but he was always caring and explained everything to me. I had to go back to him several years ago. Still the wait time but, I believe he has too many patients now. I think he’s is trying to help so many people and is spread very thin. He is an excellent surgeon. But for a wait time of 1 1/2 hours he spent all of 4 minutes with me to do an in office procedure and out the door. Couldn’t ask a question. I would not have gone back to him but I do know him from past years. He has, through surgery taken care of 90% of my issue. So very grateful for him.
Excelente doctor
Excellent surgeon he cured me. I highly recommend him.
Absolutely the worst doctor I've ever seen. He was over an hour and half late for my scheduled sigmoidoscopy. When he finally came in the room, he didn't take the time to greet me or explain the procedure or ask if I had any questions. Because he was so far behind schedule, he rushed and was rough during the procedure. I knew it was going to be uncomfortable, but he was in such a hurry and so rough that the experience was painful. When he finished, he simply said, "all done" and walked out of the room. No discussing what he found, nothing about follow up or at home care, and he didn't even leave me with anything to use to clean myself up. If I could give less than one star I would. After I get my results from the biopsy, I will be looking for a new doctor and will never return to his practice again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
