Dr. Bartek has gone above and beyond providing care for my mother!! I've been caring for my mom for many years and she has many health problems. Sadly most of her Drs and/or their offices haven't been that great. But we have had nothing but good experiences with him and his staff. I would highly recommend him!!!

Dr Bartek is an excellent doctor however his receptionist at the Port Charlotte office has real attitude issues and seems to be totally ignorant about insurances. Dr. Barteck at my last appointment told me to call him if I needed to come earlier than my yearly appointment. I have been having problems with my legs, so I called his office earlier this spring to try to get an appointment by June. His receptionist would not let me tal to him nor would she make an appointment stating that I would have to get approval from my insurance. I tried to explain to her that I have full coverage insurance and I am not on an HMO or PPO so I am fully covered and do not need a referral but all she did was argue with me and would make an appointment for me. Now yesterday I was having real problem with my legs so I called his office again and got the same response from his receptionist with even more attitude. when I told her that I would just go to another vascular surgeon she said that up to me and refused to let me talk to him or make an early appointment because of insurance approval which I didn't even need. I'm not quite sure but I may have called her a dumb, ignorant, b**ch before I hung up. It's too bad because I liked Dr Barteck but I will never go back to him as long as long as his current office staff is there. I have already made an appointment with a new Dr.

Dr. Bartek is an excellent vascular surgeon with a good bedside manner, explains diseases, treatment options and easy to consult. He provided an emergency vascular port access on a Friday-next day basis for a Pic-line with deep vein thrombosis(DVT). He was compassionate during a frightening time. Thankyou, Dr. Bartek

I can't thank Dr. Bartek enough for the care that he showed my mother in the hospital. My Mom had complications after her procedure and Dr. Bartek called me and kept me informed of her condition. I was in Massachusetts and feeling helpless. He called me numerous times to update me and explained everything that was happening. He is a very caring man and I thank him for helping my Mother and I get through a very scary situation.
