My 89 year old father sees Dr Somai. I (daughter) was a hospital nurse for 42 years. Dr Somai is extremely thorough - does a complete examination, reviews lab work, asks questions regarding my dads emotional health and is patient and very compassionate. Dr Somai adds information on dietary and supplemental adjuncts to improve my dads health. Information is explained at my dads level of understanding. Thank you Dr Somai for your wonderful care! The healthcare system needs many more caring physicians like you!!

If your medical condition is something relatively easy to diagnose and obvious then Dr. Somai is the right doctor for you. However, if your Condition requires critical thinking and for someone to actually take the time and read your records including your lab results, then I would not recommend this physician. The good news is if you have a gluten allergy then you’re in the right hands. Subsequently, you probably should not go to this physician if something is actually wrong with you. Good Luck

Dr Somai recognized that my previous physician was mixing two non compatible meds and causing me a rash. He has also done great work adjusting my blood pressure meds.

Just called asking about new patient information, whomever answered the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional, didn't even give me a name of who I am speaking too, As a former medical Supervisor this was absolutely unacceptable, Please consider phone etiquette & proper training for administrative medical staff.

Dr Somai listens to your concerns, asks questions and gathers extensive information. He then follows up with required blood work.At your next appointment this is all very clearly explained.Ailments that I have been told were due to my increasing age were suddenly manageable with appropriate medication. Thanks to his expertise I feel better than I have felt in years. Dr Somai personifies everything you would hope to find in a good Doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Somai for about 2 1/2 years. I loved and trusted my doctor of 20 years from back north, never thought I would find anyone I would feel the same way about, never mind in this short amount of time. Dr Somai is comfortable to talk to, listens to you, remembers from visit to visit your conversations. He looked at me on one my first visits, after asking lots and lots of questions, knew he had or should change some of my medication. He discussed his thoughts with me and lots of baby steps, lots of visits, lots of patience he has me on the correct medication. I consider Dr Somai My Person!

I had tried two different doctors when I first moved to Florida and was very unhappy with the part time attitude. I found Dr Kevin Somai through my insurance company and thought I would give him a try. I went to see him and was immediately glad I did. Dr Somai spent a great deal of time learning about my history and my health care goals. He sent me for lab work and has spent hours talking with me about ways to improve not only my current health but my lifestyle choices that will improve my health for years to come. I value his opinions. I know I can count on him to answer my calls. I know that he has my best interests at heart. Dr Kevin Somai has proven to me that he is a full time doctor who is interested in a long term relationship with my health. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family. He has been a great find for me and I feel like I have finally found someone I can confide in and trust.

Dr. Somai has been an amazing physician for me. He doesn’t rush through the appointment And not only answers, but fully explained every answer. I came to him in January with many symptoms that others either ignored or didn’t believe. Dr. Somai immediately made me feel valued and heard. He ordered test that indicated why I was feeling so badly. He referred me to the best specialists, that I have since discovered, are the best in their field. Dr. Somai not only continues to treat me for the conditions that are in his field, but stays interested and current with my other concurrent conditions. He has been a positive game changer for my life. I’m truly thankful. I refer to him as Dr. House with incredible social skills.

Dr. Somai has been an amazing help to me! I am so grateful for him. He is my "Dr. House." He was able to intervene and help me when other specialists could not. He is a wonderful listener and will make sure he gets to the bottom of any issues. He never makes me feel rushed. Highly recommend!

Very thorough in testing and explaining results clearly. Diagnosed and treated a problem I have had for years that was never identified properly. It is now being treated properly and I really can tell the difference. I really appreciate this doctor.
