Dr. Kaveh is a great specialist doctor. He's the best one I've found for our area. He takes time with you and listens to what you have to say.

Dr. Kaveh is short and to the point. He asks pertinent questions and listens well to answersl. He recommends appropriate followup with different specialists if he sees other issues.

While Dr. Kaveh is knowledgeable, he tends to 'cookbook' his patients and not look at the bigger picture. Specialists seem to fall into this trap and he's no exception. He's nice enough, answers questions (although sometimes a little hurried) and does know his stuff. Holistic solutions are never recommended and several times, we had to ask about possible medications or therapies to improve kidney function. He's not condescending or combative at all, you just need to be proactive in your own care. His staff gets mixed reviews...prior to July of 2009, there were one or two good apples but getting a response from the staff in general was like pulling teeth. Rarely a call back in a timely manner which was very frustrating during a life & death situation. Since late July, the staff issues seem to have been fixed with new personnel. All in all, he's a good doctor.
