Luis Dibos's Online Review Report Card

On Friday July 27 2021 my husband Wayne Birnbaum was scheduled for what we thought was going to be a routine heart catheterization to check his stents. After the catheterization we were shocked to learn Wayne needed a heart bypass surgery. As bad as that news seemed Wayne’s doctor Dr MaJeed introduced us to Dr Dibos. Dr Dibos met with us and immediately deflected our fears. He sat with us and explained the procedure in detail. His confidence and caring were so evident. He spoke to us at length and told us exactly what was going to be done. Although we both knew this was major surgery his calm and confident demeanor helped to ease our nerves. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful Dr DiBos has been. The bypass ended up being a triple bypass. Because of Covid I was asked to wait at home for a call from Dr Dibos. When he called he as always allayed my fears. He told me Wayne came through fine and I could come to see him after three pm. He was caring calming and wonderful. He was always there to answer any questions and advise us as to what the future would bring. There are changes we had to make dietary etc. Dr Dibos and his wonderful staff walked us through everything.Although open heart surgery is a very scary thing I couldn’t have asked for better care. Dr Dibos made my husband well again. The artery that had a very major block is called the widow make. If not for Dr Dibos I might very well have become one. Kudos to Dr DiBos for saving my husbands life. We couldn’t have received better care. Dr DiBos and his staff are wonderful. If you need open heart surgery Dr DiBos is the man to see. A big thank you to Dr DiBos and his wonderful staff. My husband is still with me and recovering well thanks to this amazing doctor.

I had to have heart surgery. Dr. Dibos is my heart surgeon. He is amazing. He has a super friendly calming bedside manner. He and his staff were very reassuring to my wife and I since this surgery was very unexpected and had to be done asap. From the pre surgery to post op to the the recovery Dr. Dibos and his staff were amazing. thank you..

Dr. Dibos performed and aortic valve replacement for me on July 15th 2021. From my initial meeting in his office to my follow up visit after surgery he was very caring and always communitive with myself my wife and family. He was easy to understand was genuinely caring of my mental as well as physical well being. It was like having a brother for my surgeon. His staff Laura Nora both Brianas and Tammy at the office and at the hospital were nothing short of great and exhibited the same caring attitude and communication. I might add the hospital staff was also top notch. Everyone seemed to be very knowledgeable about heart issues and had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Dibos. That alone says a lot.

I got very lucky. I was in the right place at the right time when I was told I needed a Triple bypass open heart procedure. I was in Bayfront heart tower for a heart cath which I failed. My cardiologist wanted me to meet Dr. Dibos. He came in and told me what I needed and his manner was so confident that my response was Lets do it. Best decision I could have made. Charlotte county has some of the best first class facilities anywhere and Dr. Dibos and his staff are world class.

At the beginning of July I found out several of several obstructions in my arteries. The surgeon assigned to this operation was Dr. Luis Dibos MD. The procedure set date was July 07 2021. During pre and postoperation Dr. Dibos and his staff acted very professionally explaining the surgical procedures and personal support during several visits.Also I like to extend my appreciation to the professional nurse and staff on 3rd and 2nd floor that nurtured me during this challenging period of my life. Also to recognize the assistance of the different professionals involved in therapies diet religion etc.I thank God and Dr. Dibos I now have a second chance in my life.Jose A Lopez

I had a quadruple heart bypass in early July 2021. The surgery went well. I was checked on frequently by Dr.Dibos and his staff while hospitalized. The doctor kept my family members who were out of town well informed. The staff worked hard to get me safely home and follow up has been excellent. This team has done quite well by me .

Dr. Dibos is an excellent surgeon. He has a very good bedside manner and truly cares about your outcome. Because of God and the skilled hands of Dr. Dibos Im very thankful to be alive.

Dr. Dibos is a very personable heart surgeon. If it wasnt for him I would probably be on my death bed. Thanks to him and his team within days I had a double bypass and within a week I was in rehab in Sarasota 7 days later I was home. After 4 weeks Im driving myself to Dr. appointments and almost back to normal life. You dont have to go to Tampa or Sarasota to get quality heart care we have it here in Port Charlotte.
