List of MIchael Mozzetti's Reviews
I have been a patient of Doc Mozzetti for several years, fully compliant with the BS political rules, and when hurricane Ivan struck I was stranded, homeless, and now involuntarily retired. And virtually homeless, looking forward to re connecting with Doc M and trying to return to port Charlotte. Thanks to Cdr. Mozzetti, Dugan ands the rest of his staff. I have great faith in USN trauma specialists
The other post on here sounds like someone that was abusing there medication and was kicked out because of it. I had family that went to see him and I've brought them to many visits they were never there longer than 2hrs. And that was when they had a lot of questions. The doctor and staff where very polite even to me and I wasn't a patient my family members that went to see him where always telling me of natural and non narcotic ways of managing there pain that they learned from him many of which I use and still use myself. Even at the peak of COVID and the beginning of the shut down he was spending quality time with his patients making sure they are ok. I work in the medical field myself in NY HIGHEST RATED HOSPITAL and I must say I wish all doctors had his compassion and genuine care about his patients quality of life. I haven't seen that he's been arrested so I don't believe it is right to classify him as a Pill Mill those doctors were arrested along with staff members this is More likely that somewhere someone made a clerical mistake and unfortunately The type of person this Man seems to be he would take all accountability for anything that happened in his office. Because that is what honorable people do.
An excellent and needed doctor. Please tell me when he will be able to re-open his practice. His patients suffer chronic pain for 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week. His is the practice that actually helps them. In the time that I have been his patient I have never seen anyone in the waiting room that looked suspicious or out of it. Does anyone know how long he will be closed and how, or if, we can help?
DEA HAS REVOKED LICENSE AS OF AUGUST, 2022! DEA also went into his office in Dec., 2021, leaving with several laptops. He reopened, but was again raided and shut down by the DEA. A sign now reads, "The DEA has revoked my license to prescribe narcotic medications. Patients will need to seek medical care elsewhere. We apologize for the inconvenience." I feel so sorry for the people left without care & warning...my thoughts and prayers are with them! As I stated 4 years ago in the post below, he had become a "pill mill" doctor, in it for the money. Hopefully, he is now permanently closed and no other patient needing pain management will be given it in the form of high-dose/ever increasing narcotics in place of the multitude of non-medicinal options available. PILL MILL DOCTOR: Typical visit wait time: 3-4 hours! Office staff is disrespectful and mismanages patient billing information, then will blame the patient for non-payment, claiming they "told you before every visit that you owe money." For two years? The doctor forgets what prescriptions he writes for you, has written prescriptions incorrectly MANY times, forgets on a Monday that he did an injection on the Thursday before, allows patients who have physical & verbal altercations to continue coming to his office for their pills, and does not take or review notes regarding patients' care/visits with doctors of other specialties. He is also verbally abusive to patients. Worst of all, he allows a MEDICAL ASSISTANT to see patients, which is against the law, so he can bill, bill, bill. After 11 years, he has succumbed to the all mighty dollar, and his patient care has gone from a solid 5 stars to 0 stars! It is sad and scary to see the decline of his practice and the patients he is putting in danger, myself included. If you are a patient, LEAVE! I did and found I am in worse condition due to his prescription writing without checking blood work, ever. If you are considering him, PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE! Your life is not worth the pain pill.
Tells it like it is.
I've been seeing doctor Mozzetti for almost 7 years, He's always been very professional and has helped to keep my pain at a maintainable level. He has told me once or twice that the DEA has been trying to put him out of business because they think he over medicates patients??? He has always kept my meds at the level needed for my pain not more than!!! I holding out as long as i can hopefully he will be back before all of his patients have to find another doctor i don't want too!!!!!
I'm with the last review. This man fights for his patients. He taught me plenty on pain management where others failed. He doesn't slam meds down your throat. (I've done that to keep moving and that does not work.) He cares and turns you towards non-prescription over the counter meds that actually work to combat the pain. I thought I had tried EVERYTHING and he hands down proved me wrong. I have had over 20-30 bone and joint surgeries and thought I was done with at age 50 and NOT physically enjoying life. Not good news for a guy my age that has counted on his body to perform to make money. I have been to all specialist that specifically pertain to me, and they say this is my course in life. (pain management) . Specialists say upon just an X-Ray that I'll be seeing them again, but referred me to pain management to help me and after collecting the fees of course. I'm lucky having found M. Mozzetti. FYI Dr. Valente of pain management plainly said he can't help me in his manner but referred me to another course of pain management. I'm personally messed up structurally and through following Dr. Mozzetti recommendations I got what's worth of my life back for the most part. I really hope it works out for everyone's best interest. Most of it I believe is this state's laws and regulations. Pharmacists think they're the cure all and Florida is trying to correct itself of the wide open opioid crisis this state led the country in and these pharmacists dispensed them. Now they want to blame everyone else cause of lawsuit lost paying out millions of dollars. Ridiculous! Good Luck to all!
I was surprised & disappointed today when I went my sch apt only to find closed due to DEA. I don't know why, he's always been good to me & very thorough & compassionate. Hopefully he will be back soon!
The doctor is very knowledgeable of pain and the underlying cause. He will spend the time needed to get you relief.
The office manager/receptionist does not let their patients (paying customers) know about policy changes. Office manager/receptionist has zero patience for people. Observed several times getting short with others. The doctor is good but office staff is rude and short tempered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
