List of MIllennium Physician Group's Reviews
I am surprised by all the negativity about this doctors office Doctor Cohen has been my primary doctor for over 4 years now and I have had nothing but positive experiences with the office staff nurses Dr. Cohen and the practitioner Jerilyn Summers. Ive seen Jerilyn more than Dr. Cohen but that doesnt bother me Jerilyn is one of the most caring personable and thorough doctors that I have seen.
Love my doctor hate the clinic. Their communication is horrible and the rudeness and manners of the entry staff is unacceptable. If it werent for Dr. Gilpen wed never go back.
I AM NOT ONE TO LEAVE REVIEWS BUT THIS IS THE WORSE CLINIC I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. RECEPTIONISTS WERE VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. THEY SHOULD OF WENT TO MED SCHOOL IF THEY WANTED TO MAKE DOCTORS DECISIONS. I WASNT EVEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK TO A PROFESSIONAL.
93 year old mom had to wait and waitfor blood work. This is the 2nd time Ive been to Millennium in PC. Service was bad both times. Mom said she will go in Englewood next time.
They refused to see my wife because Millennium closed our primary care office. Screw them
In March I made a new patient preventive care wellness appointment with Dr Cristy Criss office after finding her listed on the Florida Blue in network provider list. I was told by the physician’s office the process is to make an appointment with the APRN and at that time an appointment with the physician will be set up. After the APRN appointment in April I received a bill for $179. I spoke with a Florida Blue representative who told me the visit was coded as an office visit 99204 and I needed to contact the physician’s office to have this corrected. After speaking with the office I was told that this was an “establishment appointment” and that all visits after this would be billed as wellness appointments.I believe Millennium Physician Group is misleading their new patients to make an extra visit with the APRN in order to obtain an extra billable office visit. This process is unethical and deceptive to patients seeking to obtain preventive wellness care.I am giving them a 3 star rating despite this major billing issue because I did receive excellent care. The APRN listened to my concerns and gave me referrals and information to help. All the staff was friendly and the wait time was minimal. I was very pleased and looking forward to my visit with Dr Criss in June until this bill came along.
Wow I am surprised the comments I have read...We have had nothing but top notch respectful service from our primary doctor. Dr Gillette and his staff have gone above and beyond to meet our health needs in a timely manner. Throughout all of this past year they have done what they said they would while always communicating professional. Hats off to each and everyone of your staff for showing up and providing outstanding service.
Not a good place to go for medical needs. Drs are OK if you get a chance to see one most often its different NP. Annual physical exam took about 5 minutes with few questions asked.I was getting lab work for which I scheduled in advance only to find my self with 12 other people in waiting room half of them hacking away and some with masks hanging around their neck. Waited for lab results to show up in my patient portal for 8 days still nothing. Then I get a call from staff member telling me I need to schedule appointment to get on madication. Dont care to be insulted with this type of practice they must have assumed I cant read. That was enough for me switched to different primary and as far away as possible from millennium physician group.
Im only giving 2 stars because Dr.Planer is a very good and knowledgeable doctor if you can see her. She is the 2nd doc Ive had at the facility. However when ever I have a issue she cant see me. One of my appointments that was schedule 6 months in advance was cancelled and I was told I would have to see a PA of wait 2 additional months. This place is fine for people who dont have any real health issues.
You may sign up with a physician but when it comes to annual physical exams or visits you will be examined by one of the many physician assistants PAs who barely spends 510 for an ANUAL PHYSICAL EXAM and charges your insurance company full price. Do your homework and call around make sure you see a physician who has graduated from a decent medical school and who doesnt have PAs or nurse practitioners doing the work for them while they collect the high fees. For another visit to receive a scheduled injection I was billed the full amount for a physicians visit and not for a nurse to administer a shot.In and out in 5 minutes. The charge was $167.84 with a copay amount of $40. They have the physician as the provider. This is fraudulent. Plain simple fraudulent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
