Dr. Martyka saved my 97 year-old grandmother from an above the knee amputation last year. Now she is up and about again - going to church and shopping and back to her cheerful self. I and my family are so thankful that we were led to Dr. Martyka at a time we were. He was, and is an answer to many, many prayers. His manner and dedication far exceed that of several other doctors and surgeons we encountered during a very trying time. As a surgeon ( in another state), Dr. Martyka is a colleague whom I hold in highest esteem - not only for his expertise in saving my grandmother's limb and in so doing her life, but also the care and compassion with which he and his office staff have attended to her over the past months- in the hospital and at his office. That standard of compassion and genuine concern for patients is one I hold myself to in my own daily practice. Dr. Martyka exemplifies the best of patient care. Five stars is simply not enough !!!!!!
