It was quite by accident that it was discovered that I had a seriously detached Retina-an emergency procedure was required to save the vision in my Left Eye. This was doubly imperative, because Zoster had already damaged my Right Eye, years earlier-if the Retina was not properly repaired, I could go blind. Dr. Mears examined me and explained the entire procedure, dilated my eye, and with a Laser, went to work tacking my Retina back together. That was a year ago, and yesterday I attended my 3rd follow-up exam. Dr. Mears said my eye was fine. Dr. Mears, effectively saved my Sight. Obviously, she is a very competent Doctor and Surgeon, I trust her implicitly. Thank you Doctor Mears, and your attending Support Team.

A very good eye specialists. He has helped me with my retina problem. Great doctor to go to if you need a specialist for your eyes.

This doctor is very good at his profession.I would give him 5 stars, but my only complaint is that he doesn't have the best people skills. I attribute that to his work load, I believe he visits 3 different locations each week and and he has back to back patients all day.Maybe cut back on appointments so you can spent a little more time with them. A little compassion goes a long way.

Pitiful, inhuman and shameful patient care from Dr. Raskauskas and his team. As a patient receiving care elsewhere for over six years, this office should be avoided at all costs. Painful, disfiguring and unacceptable treatment. Compassion, credibility and courtesy is non existent.

they cancelled my appt i had planned for weeks with very short noice via voicemail. im glad i even checked because i often dont check my voicemails esp when busy with work. i had already taken off work for this appointment far in advance given their poor availabilities for new patients (they only gave me two slots to choose from, and none were early or late enough to allow me not to take off work for the appt). what also irks me is they rescheduled it for a date and time without speaking to me. if they really were trying to make a good impression or were patient oriented, it would be proper to call me and have me call back with a time that works best for me. the cancellation was due to "staffing issues". seems odd. given i never went to this office, nothing wrong with the practitioners. being in the medical field, to me this is poor office management and not patient oriented. it all starts with making the appointment and while i was unimpressed by the selective slots for new patients, was willing to give it a chance. im glad there are plenty of retina centers around.

My appointment was cancelled , they said they tried to call me. I arrived early (as I usually do) for my appointment only to be told it was cancelled. Could have tried an e-mail !!! Frustrating ....

As a new snowbird Dr. Ghuman has done a wonderful job of continuing my wet Macular Degeneration therapy while here in SWFL.

I just moved to Port Charlotte from New Jersey. I called for an appointment and was told there was an appointment at 11:30 in Fort Meyers. I said ok because I was having trouble with my eyesight. I drove an hour away and when I get there they want me to sign a paper saying I was an emergency appt and the wait could be 3 hours. I didn't know I was an emergency and I wish someone would of told me before I drove an hour away that I would have to wait. Of course I left and I will never go back!!!
