Sandra Hegarty's Online Review Report Card

This dr office manager Anna refused appointment and when left paper work shredded it without allowing dr to see it. Dr didn’t seem to care or reach out.

A few reasons I giving a 1. Mainly staff. 1. It took me 3 days to get through. They give you and option to press 1 for a call back, so after waiting 20 minutes I pressed it. They never called me back, so for 2 days (I don't know why I even tried) I tried to get through until they finally picked up. Because my kiddos are new patients they couldn't be seen for a yearly checkup until 6 week out! 2. While giving information, she said she already one of kids in their system, this helped me remember that a while back I needed a sick check up for my youngest. The girl got all his information, and then we were disconnected. I waited for her to call me back and she never did. So when I called back, I received the out of office voicemail. I was livid. 3. Back to present. I told the lady about the incident in #2 above and her reply was "well, we're not a call center!" SERIOUSLY! TAKE YOU CHILDREN TO A PLACE WHERE THEY ARE WANTED AND LOVED!

We been coming to Dr. Hegarty for over 8 years now! We tried to change doctors so we can be closer to where we live, but ended up going back to Dr. Hegarty. My kids have anxiety when it comes to doctors/dentist, but some how they seem to enjoy visiting her office. They feel comfortable and she takes the time to talk to the kids. I read the low star reviews and they just don’t add up to our experience with her!

I don’t get flu vax or fluoride treatments on my child. This has been known since my son has seen Dr. Hegarty in 2019. I recently received a certified letter that Dr. Hegarty dropped my son, as well as his Dentist & my son’s referrals for Autism were also dropped. The letter stated that Dr. Hegarty stressed the importance of immunizing my child & I refused to immunize. Dr. Hegarty never once spoke to my child’s Father or I about anything to do with immunizations. The only one we do not currently get is the flu, pneumonia & covid shot. When I called their Office to clear this up, I was told to write a letter to the Board. Never once were we spoken to as a family & never once did we refuse mandatory vaxes. This has effected & placed a ripple in my child’s care, as far as the elongated process needed to get a proper diagnoses for Autism. If I could give Dr. Hegarty 0 stars for lack of honesty & lack of care, I would!

My daughter is almost 13 and I have brought her to multiple pediatricians in the past, but none of them were as kind, understanding and compassionate as Dr. Hegarty! I have been bringing my children to Dr. Hegarty for the past few years and she is the best pediatrician I have ever come across! My daughter is almost 13 and I have brought her to multiple pediatricians in the past, but none of them were as kind, understanding and compassionate as Dr. Hegarty! My children always feel comfortable with her and she always takes the time out to discuss the concerns I have, unlike most doctors these days. very amazing staff and great with kids

Told my child that her pain was all in her head. Told doctor to please fix my childs pain. Doctor told me to not talk to her like that. Found new doctor, my child had walking pneumonia and major double inner ear infections for 2 months. Absolutely unprofessional.

Clean, well equipped facility, professional and kind staff. The doctor took her time, addressed all concerns, very knowledgable, was very thorough and nice. I am very pleased.
