I developed a heart arrhythmia this past spring ... and Dr. Peykar and his staff have done an excellent job of caring for me since then. I've undergone several procedures, and came out the other end with a heart that is functioning properly once again. I would recommend Dr. Peykar and his team.

Dr. Peykar and his staff are fabulous. His competence is only part of the story. He explains everything is great detail, answered all question and does it with an upbeat and loving demeanor. I shutter to think of where I would be today per the electrical deficiencies of my heart BUT FOR his care and expertise.. He also went above and beyond in terms of explaining how stress can impact me and things I probably should do to manage it better. I am blessed beyond words to have him as my Doctor. Fran B- 11/24/21

Dr. Peykar has astonishingly good reviews, and I'm sure they're deserved. I liked him immediately, felt completely confident in him doing my ablation, had a quick recovery, and felt like myself leaving the hospital, with no A-Fib, lower blood pressure, and resting pulse between 50 and 60. Unfortunately, I developed tachycardia (resting pulse around 100) about two weeks later, which has persisted for three months now, and makes me feel worse on exertion (as little as one flight of stairs) than I did with A-Fib. I don't blame Dr. Peykar for this, as my A-Fib was persistent, increasing the chances of needing a follow-up ablation. However, I've chosen another doctor (out of the area) to do the follow-up, mostly because of the the lack of communication from Dr. Peykar and his staff. I never saw the doctor on the day of my procedure (I was anesthetized before he arrived) or after, and his great nurse practitioner lost interest (and contact) after my tachycardia began.

He is extremely arrogant and has no real bedside manner. After my wife's procedure he didn't have time to discuss the surgery or his failure to address my wife's condition at all. If you look up God complex he should be listed as top dog.

Very arrogant and no bedside manner. After his failure in surgery to address my wife's condition he had no time to explain what happened and handed me off to a nurse who had little/no knowledge of what happened. If you want answers , look elsewhere for a doctor

Had cardiac ablation 2nd time. Had 1st done about 3 years ago. He is wonderful. Explained what he did and answered questions so that I could understand. Very caring. Highly recommend

Dr Peykar did a watchman procedure on me in December of 2019. In January of 2020 Dr Peykar did a TEE procedure on me to check on the Watchman device. He reported all was well. In six months I was off blood thinners. In February 2021 I had a CT scan, TEE procedure and a heart catheterization which all reviled the Watchman device Dr Peykar put in me was undersized. It has blood clots around it and blood flow going into the Left Atrial Appendage. I am now awaiting heart surgery to have the Watchman device removed.

My name is Pete A. I said it once I will say it again. Dr Peykar is by far one of the best Drs I have ever known . After many years of a heart condition and no other Drs being able to actually help me, Dr Peykar saved me. Not only is he a very Knowledgeable doctor but his bedside manners are the best him and his whole group of people are wonderful people and I highly recommend him thanks again Dr. for saving me!

I found Sidney Pekar to be excellent. In Fact my heart specialistin Cape Coral, Fl sent me to Port Charlotte to see Dr. Pekar because he is one of the best if not the best. He exhibits a good bed side manner and takes time to explain any procedures he is doing. He is very thorough and does not go forward unless everything is just right.If you want a doctor you can trust and have peace of mind he is the one to see.
