Dr. Vensel found an early, curable cancer on my mammogram. She saved my life. I am forever grateful to her for her skills, her eagle eye, and her thoroughness. And she is not only an exceptional radiologist, she is kind, caring, compassionate, considerate, and professional. She has held my hand and takes the time to answer my questions. She did my breast biopsy and was as gentle as she could be. It was not nearly as painful as I imagined. I trust only Dr. Vensel to read my mammograms.

Dr. Vensel is one of the most respected radiologists in Collier County and there's a few reasons why: she is thorough, caring and communicative. When I went in for a mammogram, she was empathetic and took the time to explain what to expect. Immediately, I felt at ease. When the scary news was delivered, she was there with me to hold my hand and discuss our options with the concern of a loving parent. I have such love in my heart for Dr. Vensel. She is a wonderful doctor and person.

I have had the good fortune to have Dr Vensel consult with me and my doctors on several occasions. Her diagnostic analysis was always "spot on" and her thoroughness, professionalism and communications skills are beyond compare. Anyone will be lucky to have her as their doctor.

please do not rely on mammogram or sonogram read by this doctor. Saw her in May 2016 for a lump I found. She said she saw nothing on either mammogram or sonogram and did not examine me after I directed her attention to it. 4 months later she determined I may have a small suspicious lump. Indeed there was a cancer but she totally missed a 6 cm tumor that had grown aggressively all summer. Fortunately the cancer had not spread to my lymph system.
